    I saw them at the Home & Garden Show. A *** came to my home and I placed an order in May for a patio enclosure. I made a $3800 down payment by check. I have not heard from them since. When I call, they have no information.

    On Oct 13 2022 I contracted with Sunspace of Central Ohio to install their product in June of 2023. From the beginning one of the windows would not stay closed. After repeated calls and several visits from different service people, it was finally determined in the summer of 2024 that a bent frame had been installed. Many more phones call on my part happened before a new frame was installed. Unfortunately the window still did not stay closed. More phone calls before another service person came out to say the felt around the top of the frame was at fault and had to be replaced. I was assured in August 2024 it would be taken care of before we left in October for our winter residence. It did not happen. I started calling in April of this year to remind them I will returning to Ohio in May and have been given one excuse after another. My last call on May 19 2025 has gone unanswered. I have repeatedly requested to speak with *** ******t the owner but he has never returned my calls. I have been told the felt is available but that scheduling is the issue. I’m not sure why a problem they knew about in August of 2024 could not in be fit into their schedule when they had 10 months to work it in.

    Installers were sent to Ms ********* residence on 5/27/2025, it was determined that the window needs to be replaced. The window was ordered 5/28/2025, will have a confirmation on the estimated date of delivery for the window on Friday, 5/30/2025. **** ***** has called Ms ******* to give her the update.

    I am rejecting this response because: for the last 2 years I have been promised that this problem would be fixed and it has not. Many service techs have tried various ways none of which succeeded. Based on past history I don’t know if installing a new window will fix this problem. Additionally this company’s track record for putting me on their schedule is less than satisfactory. Until I have an installed and working window I cannot considered the case closed.

    My new window was installed on August 4th. At this time it appears to be working properly but it’s only been 1 week. Thank you for your help in this matter.  I know it was through your intervention that Sunspace responded.

    We purchased a Sunspace Of Central Ohio Sunroom. We paid *** ******* a 1/3 down payment on 06/24/2020. We were told we would be put on the installation list as soon as the material arrived from ******. They started on 12/09/2020 on a concrete foundation we already had in place. Paid another payment. They finished on 01/01/2021 and a final payment. They sunroof roof has leaked from the installation. Every moderate to heavy rain we are drying up the puddles. We have put a few buckets under the worst areas. After many phone calls I still have no resolution. I call, They want photos and told we would be put on the list for repair. Most of the time they cancel at the last minute. Other jobs to finish first. The few times they did work on it they put caulk and added some flashing. That didn't work. Max finally sent a roofing company to attach it to the house. We didn't know it wasn't. After replacing the house roof for hail damage and attaching the sunroof roof, we still have leaks. I text Max and told him we wanted a permanent fix. He said he got the roof fixed but didn't. He needs to replace the bowed panels or put a different roof on it. Not sure how sturdy the roof is. One of the roofers stepped on it and the outside door would not close properly. Had to push on framing. I am now questioning the sturdiness of the whole structure? Caulking is cracking and screws are starting to loosen next to the house. I just want to get a resolution.

    Sunspace Central Ohio has been in contact with Ms ***** several times about the issues with the roof. We have been out to repair leaks thru the years when requested. We have scheduled the owner, *** *******, to come out to see it on Wednesday 10/23/24 to see what needs done.

    I am rejecting this response because: We met with Max on Sept.23rd. We discussed options to fix the sunroof roof. He wants to caulk and put waterproof tape on the seams. Then we need a moderate to heavy rain to test for leaks. If it still leaks he is supposed to change the roof panels. Also replace the wood railing on the landing. We have not heard from him since our meeting. He was supposed to contact us to get the work scheduled. We are not closing this case until the work gets done.

    *** *******, owner of Sunspace Central Ohio, met with Ms ***** on the scheduled appointment of 10/23/24 and took the attached pictures of the roof. While he was there it was discussed that the installer would first put caulking on the roof to see if that will fix the leaks. An installer was sent out to Ms ***** on 10/30/24 to re-caulk the roof, screwheads, fix shingles in 2 places and fix the handrail. Ms ***** informed the installer that Max fixed the downspout while he was there on 10/23/24. 

    In order to see if the roof leaks are fixed, we need a good heavy rain to make sure it is not leaking anywhere. Ms ***** can contact the office if she is experiencing any leaks after the rain and we will re-evaluate the next steps.
