I worked for Xtreme Limo for 2 months. The manager ******************* didnt train me properly for the position. While out on runs I would call her with concerns and would get no reply. When I quit in April the company gave me the run around about my pay. I emailed and called several times to the corporate office only to be told the check had been mailed and cashed. When I told *********************** that I didnt receive it he replied thats not their problem it was cashed. When I informed him I was gonna call the police to find out who cashed it he suddenly finds where in fact I wasnt paid and ensured me that it would be sent out immediately, this was in June. I waited till the end of July and filed a law suit in small claims. The court date is August 30th. And this week alone I've received two phone calls telling me they have my check ready if I drop the case. I told ***** that I will not be dropping anything and Ill see them in court. A half a hour later I received an email stating they are sending the check through ****** It took me to file a law suit for Xtreme to even want to pay me and my original pay period was in April, it is now August. And ***** feels like Im being unreasonable not accepting payment.
