    I paid 499 on 9/22/22 for a 14 month policy with a required 30 day waiting period effective 10/22/22. My dishwasher stopped working on 10/24/22. I called to file a claim. They advised that it was too soon and it was pre-existing. It was not a pre-existing issue. They fraudulently are not covering my equipment although the contract states my policy is effective. This is fraud.

    On 8/23/22 I submitted a claim to Amazon Home Warranty for a faulty breaker. On 9/6/22 they emailed me to let me know that they had approved my claim and a check for $200 would be mailed to me. This was the cap allowed even though my claim was for more. Every week I would call to check the status only to be told the check would take up to 10 business days to be processed. I have been persistant with calling to follow up. I was told today 10/24 after speaking with several employees that my contract was canceled and a check will not be sent out. I was hung up on 3 times when trying to get an explanation as to why my account was canceled whom cancelled it and what did it have to do with a claim that was submitted and approved back in September. I have tried my best to resolve the issue with them. They are unwilling to resolve it. I paid for this home warranty to cover any unexpected repairs etc. I had to pay $105.94 for the part and $300 in labor to have this repair done because I was concerned of an electrical fire. Amazon Home Warranty needs to reimburse me. This was part of my contract with them. I have never dealt with such unprofessional company. They are in the business of signing you up taking your money and not paying out on claims. They use the name "Amazon" making you think that they are a reputable company when in fact they are not.

    We took out Amazon home warranty I am 90 and a veteran we were told we had to wait 30 days we were responsible in that 30 days All appliances were working well We have made 2 payments we are now into when they repair

    Today my microwave started malfunctioning my son put a cup of coffee in and it hums and don’t heat This just happened and is under coverage now They say because it’s only 4 days into when they repair they will not cover , this is poor business and our contract says they cover It just happened and is not preexisting we want it repaired as per contract per replaced as contract now or refund all my money no cancelation fee

    I purchased home warranty for all appliances. I contacted for repair on dishwasher. first I was told no one in my area, find your own contractor, then I get a call from a contractor. He came, he examined the problem, he took pictures, he ordered the parts, I paid 75.00. Next thing I know they denied the claim as cosmetic. The part prevents me from using the dishwasher because the computer is falling out. The dishwasher does not turn off unless I unplug it. I contacted the company to complain. they said this is cosmetic. I requested a refund and they offered me 9 cents. This company is a scam and I will let the policy run it's course but they should refund the 75.00. the contractor called them twice to explain the damage and they would not speak to him. Total scam

    I contacted Amazon Home Warranty (AHW) in July 2022 about an issue. As of mid October they have failed to resolve the issue. The service technician informed AHW that my AC unit has a failed compressor. AHW refuses to replace my compressor at a reasonable replacement cost, the item is beyond repair. Instead AHW is offering me a fraction of the actual cost of replacement. The unconscionable acts of this company are extraordinary. It took at least 6 calls to finally speak with the Supervisor of customer service, Sara. The supervisor was RUDE and refused to properly handle my request. I asked Sara for her employee ID or another way to identify her and she refused. This company does business with customers all over the country. I’ve done my due diligence as a customer (soon to be former customer) and they repeatedly refuse to fix the issue.

    This is what has transpired with AHW the past few days, I have been denied coverage and AHW has cancelled my contract and closed my open claims that I had opened before October 13th..
    This was the same for the other 3 claims all of these claims were filed before contract expiration date of October 17, 2022.

    On October 14, 2022, after AHW not being able to find anyone and me finding no one that was willing to do the warranty work or responding I called back asking for a refund. I was informed I will not get a refund. I asked about cancelling and getting a refund. I was also told that I would be renewing on the 17th. I told them I do not want to renew. I was told I needed to call back on the 17th to cancel. After a heated exchange where i stated I will not renew I was told by Marsha in the cancelation department she would cancel my contract and send an email, I never received that cancelation email from Marsha, nor was I informed by her that if the contract was cancelled that the existing claims would also be closed. The last thing I did say to Marsha was "you gotta do what you gotta do I am not renewing or calling back". I called back on October 17, 2022, at 3:48 pm, to confirm that the contract was not renewed and found out it was canceled, I asked why they cancelled the contract, and was informed I would have to call back in the morning (October 18th). I then asked about the claim reimbursement forms and I was informed those claims were closed.

    I called back at 7:55 am and talked with Marsha again. She said she cancelled the contract on the 14th, so we rehashed "our" version of the conversation. She quit talking to me at the end of a 28 minute 3 second call. I told her that she is a horrible representative and also asked them to keep a copy of the voice call from the 14th because after being told i would not get a refund I never asked to have the contract cancelled and i especially would never have cancelled the contract if I had been informed that the claims wo

    Home warranty. I have been making monthly payments for over a year. My hit water tank quit last year and they refused to fix it or send anyone. Now my furnace quit and it's been two weeks! They said their contractors can't come out and I have to find my own. I did find one and they were willing to sign up with AHW . Now AHW is avoiding them and not doing anything about helping me with my furnace!

    On August 20, 2020 I purchased a Home Warrantty plan from Amazon Home Warranty (AHW). My plan is called the combo plan.
    On September 29, 2022 I called to file a claim for two dryers that are not working. The claim numbers are ****** and ******. Today is October 19, 2022 and I have been unable to get them to repair either dryer. AHW has reassigned the claim numbers to a different company for the repair. There repair person came out and evaluated the repair some time back. I paid the $75.00 fee to the repair person.
    I have called AHW repeatedly and been provided multiple reasons why the dryers are not repaired.

    I have tried to terminate my contract and have been unable to do so. I wait on hold for long periods of time.
    I seek to have my contract terminated with them, the last 120 days of monies paid to them returned to me as well as the $75.00 I paid to their repair person.

    On August 11th, 2022 I filed a warranty claim for my home A/C. On September 8th, 2022 at 12:13 pm I received a call from the company stating the claim had been approved and I could expect to receive a check in the amount of $1,750 within 3 weeks. It is now October 19th, 2022 and I still have not received my check. I've called multiple times in the interim and am told "we will notify the department." Claim #******

    All staff spoken to on the phone are courteous and professional, and my previous claims have been adjudicated timely. I would just like the check I was promised.

    I want to cancel my policy. Each time I call, eventually someone answers, asks me why I am calling. I say, I’d like to cancel the policy, they say hold, and I’m out on hold indefinitely. Latest time was over an hour.
