The $3699 granite countertop that I paid for in full was installed incorrectly despite sending in blueprints of the kitchen showing exactly where my new sink would be going. To "fix" it and re-install it the way I wanted it originally, I'll have to pay another $1,500. I bought a new sink and I was told that there's a high probability that it will be damaged, so I'll have to pay for one of theirs for another $360. In addition to all think, the designer of the job even admitted that the backsplash looks atrocious. The corners were caulked sloppily because there are smears. I'm looking at a total of $5,559. I was assured that I would love the outcome and even though they are pricier it's because of all the care that they take throughout the whole process.

2.15.2023, BBB received a phone call from Gary S****** stating that the business is working with the consumer to resolve his complaint issues.

      Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: it is UNACCEPTABLE for me to pay $1,000 over my initial quote all because nobody looked at the diagram that I provided, used logic to place the sink in the place where it made the most sense or nobody double checked with me. Any service industry institution would replace an order they screwed up on at no cost, and it wouldn't cost the customer hundreds of dollars! I've reached out to the attorney general and my lawyer should have sent them a letter of demand.

      Regards,

8/4 new countertops were installed, extremely unhappy. When we told by the sales person the countertops would be 4 pieces with one seam and showed us a diagram. When delivered we had 5 pieces and 2 seams and no changes were ever discussed with us. One seam is bad being higher on one side, not level. There are also 2 breaks in the countertop, these run all the way through. The installers tried to repair the breaks and the seam but it looks terrible and is not acceptable to us, we were told that's as good as it would get. I spoke to the owner the night of install and he had excuses for everything and then asked me to pay the remaining balance sign paperwork stating we were happy with the install and he would get back to me in a few weeks. I DID NOT! I also discussed with the sales person, sent pictures and asked that the owner to come look at our countertops. The sales person phoned me today stating the owner would call me today to discuss resolutions, I received no call.

Gary S*******, owner, returned a courtesy call and left a message on BBB voice mail. He said he had spoken to the consumer a couple of times and she was going to drop the complaint. He assumed she maybe just hadn't contacted BBB yet. He went on to say they are actually at her house today.
