I had a membership with Juvly which was 100.00 a month with a equal cash value for use of products and services. When COVID restrictions hit March 2020 I cancelled my membership because the business was not open. They charged me 2 more months because of the time of my request and their unposted policy requires 30 days. When I cancelled I was assured once the center was opened I could use my “banked” dollars. I did not sign nor was their any posted, email or letter communication that there would be a time limit to use the money I paid. I moved from the Columbus area and when I called on 8/3/2021 because I was traveling there to use my “banked” $300.00. I was told they put a rule in February of 2021 you had to use it within 6 months or they kept the money. None of this is correct and unethical in practice. There was no contract signed, no communication or written material I was given.Business response

On June 17, 2020 I had an appt with ***** ***** at Juvly-Ft. Lauderdale. While there, I paid for a 1 yr membership, a PhotoFrational session @ $499 & 50 units of Botox @ $531.50. ***** injected my Botox, however, due to pain she did not do the PhotoFrational session that day and suggested I come back another day to receive it. I made appointments on July 8th & 29th to have it done, but had to cancel due to COVID exposure. Since then, I’ve called multiple times to rebook my paid-for PhotoFrational session which I’ve NOT received. However, each time I’ve spoken to Juvly they claim that I’ve already received it (which I HAVE NOT) and they refuse to do it or give me a refund. I have even taken this to corporate, but I’ve had no success. Juvly continues to REFUSE my right to receive a service that I paid for and REFUSES to give me a refund for the Photofraxional laser, even though I’ve already paid for it and HAVE NOT received it.Business response

The client is not entitled to a refund or to service as this was used at the time of purchase on 6/17/2020. Please see the attached image that shows the provider's treatment notes from that day.
