On today, AmerAssist A/R Solution claims they have mailed a contract on 10/19/2021. I have been awaiting validating proof since July 2021; unfortunately a bill from your company isn't sufficient evidence that this debt belongs to me. They have neglected I am a victim of Identity theft; stalled the production of documentation that corroborate validity of this alleged debt for more than 90 days (§809), and initiated in unfair debt collection tactics (§808). In addition to harassing and persistent phone calls (§806), they mailed letters that applied intimidating language including deliberate threats like "if we do not receive payment in full or a phone call we may recommend to our client that this account be forwarded to a local attorney to serve as corresponding collection counsel" (§807). AMERASSIST AR SOLUTIONS most recently displayed noncompliance by initiating an untimely response to a complaint submitted to the CFPB.gov. Furthermore the debt collection agency is illegally trying to collect funds by not obtaining licensure in the state I reside in (Michigan). The following are Fair Debt Collection Practices Acts (FDCPA) violated by the this agency: §806-Harassment or abuse, §807-False or misleading representations, §808-Unfair practices, §809-Validation of debts. This overall experience has resulted in an emotional hardship creating elevating stress and anxiety. I do not owe this debt and demand to have this inaccurate account deleted immediately! In addition to forwarding this complaint and supporting documentation to the FTC, and Michigan's Attorney General; I have turned this matter over to my attorney for litigation—In regards to libel, civil liability for negligent noncompliance, and damages.
