    02/27/2025-Original meeting to discuss 2024 tax return information. Provided all necessary documents. Answered questions related to filing.

    04/11/2025-Contacted CPA for progress on tax filing status. Replied: "still working on it".

    04/26/2025-Telephone call to check status on tax return. Replied: "should be done within a week or two".


    04/30/2025-Telephone call to CPA: "still working on it".


    07/15/2025-"Been a really rough month, should be done soon".

    Extension not filed.


    Have utilized this same certified accountant since 2019. There has been no major changes to my taxable income.
    Was informed that a money will be owed to The IRS with subsequent quarterly payments. Am currently delinquent on the payments.

    I have been working with Mr. ********* for a number of years with excellent results every year.  Mr. ********* mentioned 2019 in his complaint which means we began working together for his 2018 tax preparation needs.  I have a very good track record with Mr. *********.  With respect to his complaint surrounding his 2024 tax return(s), he is correct in what I told him about "working on it" during the summer, but incorrect about money due the IRS.  I have completed his 2024 tax returns subject to getting some questions answered.  He is in fact overpaid to the IRS for 2024 with an overpayment to be applied to 2025.  One of my questions to him will be regarding if 2025 quarterly estimates are necessary.  I called him once yesterday and left a message on his voicemail.  I called him again this morning and heard a message that "the mailbox is full and cannot accept messages".  Mr. ********* called me back later this afternoon at approximately 2:40 and left a message.  I was out of my office most of this afternoon but called him back again when I got back.  I again got "the mailbox is full" on his voicemail.  He is correct about my unresponsiveness this spring and summer and I will work on that in the future.  I would point out that this is the only time an instance like this has occurred with Mr. ********* since we started working together in 2019.  I am truly sorry this happened and will take steps that it doesn't occur again in the future.
