From the start this has been a pain. A sales guy called me after I started looking, and the minute he found out that I didn’t have a 700 credit score (670) he became cold and was basically like “good luck”.
I found a car, went through the qualification process, picked a loan that had the lowest percentage, and submitted. Credit checks blew up my report, which was a little surprising as I didn’t expect as many checks as went through.
I had a question and called the sales guy back, and he informed me that I shouldn’t have picked the loan I picked due to it being subprime or something and the others are better, he said he would call me back after looking at my account and said I might get credit hits again. He got back to me and said I had actually picked the best and they were going forward.
From that point forward I could not seem to get clarity on what was even going on. I kept having to reach out, sometimes being told to not upload documents but to send them by email, sometimes being told to upload again. It took days. They wouldn’t continue without me buying insurance, so I did and it’s been a week now with no car. So I’m paying for something that I don’t own yet due to their slowness.
I still have no idea what’s going on, the app says I can track the car, I click track and it takes me to a page where it’s still sitting in the step before paying and document signing. I emailed a few days ago and was told they were doing car inspections and would be delivered soon, but today I got an email saying the funding hadn’t been released yet. And on top of that the customer service person told me a completely different funding place, but then said she was mistaken.
The only positive I can give is they are pretty quick at responding to my questions, but not very helpful or seem to be just as confused as I am about what’s next or what the current status is.
Do not use this service, even with all the good reviews I could never recommend this.

Do not take your car to this shop! All they will do is take your money. They advised I had an oil leak that was minor, they fix it after having my car for 3 days. I get my car back and still had the same problems I came in with now even worse. Before I brought my car in it was not leaking oil noticeably. Now after they claimed they fixed the leak, the car is leaking worse than before I brought it in. I end up taking it to the dealership only to find out no leaks was fixed and now a new engine is needed. The owner is not helpful, he took my money knowing the engine was bad, and instead of telling the customer he took the money knowing that regardless of trying to fix the problem the engine was going to need to be replaced.

I purchased 2015 Audi for daughter from Vroom on April 28th 2023. Once we received the car we noticed that there was a humming noise and the car had a vibration once you went over 25/30 miles per hour. It end up needing a wheel bearing. We called in the claim and it was a total hassle. It took us more than seven days to get it looked at by a local repair shop. After paying for the repairs myself I had to submit a claim through the 90 day warranty. It was really hard to get through their auto attendant. After multiple follow ups we received a 50% refund. They obviously didn’t inspect the car before shipping it to us. After we had the wheel bearing repaired and the wheels rebalanced the car still had the vibration. We took the car back to a local Audi dealer to have it checked out again. They told us that one of the wheels were bent. A wheel for the car cost almost a thousand dollars. When trying to resubmit the claim it was denied. Obviously the car must have been in some type of accident. The rim being bent and the wheel bearing needing replaced. The total cost for both repairs was over $3,500.00. We only received $1,128.99 refund from the 90 day warranty. I’d never purchase another car from Vroom, they obviously didn’t inspect the vehicle before selling it to me. The process has been a total disappointment.
