  On 11-4-24 A 24 hour notice to tow sticker was placed on my vehicle due to expired plates. My plates were renewed & valid within the given 24 hour grace period. After renewing the plates, I proceeded to go to the office to make them aware of this but the hours of operation displayed on the door of the office stated that they do NOT see residence or guests on Mondays. I tried the door just in case it might have been open but it was locked. Making me unable to advise them that the plates were now valid. Then on Tuesday, 11-5-24 my vehicle was illegally towed for expired plates by Hound Dogs Towing. Also, they failed to verify that the plates were in fact invalid at the time of the tow making this an illegal tow. After retrieving my vehicle from Hound Dogs Towing tow yard, and BEFORE it was driven off their property, it was very apparent & obvious that Hound Dogs Towing severely damaged my vehicle during the tow. I immediately made an appointment to have it inspected to which they also noted severe damage done. I have made numerous attempts to rectify this issue with both places but they have refused to respond to any correspondences or show any responsibility for their actions/inactions in this matter. Also, per state law, signage was to be posted on the property. In Ohio, the requirements for signage for private property towing are specified under the Ohio Revised Code. Failure to comply with these signage requirements could result in legal consequences for the property owner & the towing company. At no time did The Commons At Waters Edge display signage on their property before this occured. In fact, they actually started placing signs around the property on 11-21-24 after they were notified that due to their lack of cooperation in this matter, legal action was taken.

  Took my money for application fee $43 then wanted another $100 for approval fee which cost me $107. Then the ask for another $100 before I get the least? I have photos of proof!

  As a 2yr tenant this place is a joke the management is **** poor every staff member has an attitude when you have questions nobody told yall to work here I had to out maintenance requests for the same issues multiple times to be fixed. They violate my privacy by not informing me when their maintenance arrived and tried to enter my unit without a 24hr notice any concerns I had they always say its in your lease I have on video their maintenance team throw their hands up when I did not allow them to enter without a notice. Another issue when I needed to file a complaint due to another tenant hitting my car the staff member told me thats a personal problem their buildings are old and moldy they make several excuses for lies being told to you. I would not recommend this place for anyone your better off at a homeless shelter and they need to be shut down everyday either police or ambulance are on the property due to drugs addicts

  Don't rent to Waters Edge in Zanesville, OH, Cameron is a piece of shit landlord. We tried to get our deposit back and he staged a mess of the apartment just to not give it back. I will be contacting the police.
