    On 03/24/2025 the Chris G****** (contractor/owner) of The Gutter Guy 5529 Blue Rock Rd, Cincinnati, Ohio 45239 ###-###-#### agree to start a a gutter job on 03/24/2025 at 10:30 and it would be a 2 day job for him and his crew. He provided me with a quote of $2,467.00. $1,200.00 deposit which was paid to him on 03/24/2025. He stated, he was waiting for his guys to show up to start the job. He got in his car and drove off. He text me saying he was picking up material and then he would be at property to get started. I texted him, He said he would be coming and start the job after his guys have lunch. I text again with again around 2:30PM. He stated, he only has 1 guy and he might have to help. Received another text from Chris saying be patient with him. I asked for a refund and he never responded and did not start or complete the job.

    On July 9, 2024, C******** S******, also known as C******** G****** from The Neighborhood Gutter Guy, agreed to install 300 lineal feet of metal supplied by us, the owner on the fascia of our house. A 50% deposit of $1000 was requested and given on July 11, and cashed by Mr. S******. After completing 40 lineal feet of the job, the installers disappeared and did not communicate at all.
    On July 15 a message was left with them and not returned. On July 18, a call was made to them and returned because they didn't know it was from us. Mr. S****** stated that he was in a car accident and would call to say when he could return. No call back.
    A Facebook review by another customer was seen by this owner and the details were the same that this owner was experiencing, (cashed deposit, not finishing job, disappearing with no communication).
    On July 23, the female owner left a message saying if she did not hear back, a police report would be made. Mr. S****** called her within the hour and was belligerant, screaming, swearing, threatening her. He refused any refund and said he would not finish. He then called back an hour later after he saw our Facebook review and said that if the post was removed he would refund $450 by the next day, July 24.
    Post was removed, never heard from him again and it is now Aug 2. Post has been reinstated and report with sheriff was made.
    Due to only 13% of project completed owner requests a refund of $740. This will be payment of $260 for 40 LF installed of the 300 LF agreement. We are questioning the business practices of this company since there are so many bad reviews on Facebook now with many having the same experience that we had. We hired this company based on a referral by Engel's Hardware. We are senior citizens and feel that this company has taken advantage of our original trust and our finances.
