      This company is absolutely terrible. Take any chance they possibly can to overcharge you. I was told that I needed to service my meter and they only do appointment windows which is not accommodating to anyone that has a job? Latest appointment window is 12-4pm. I don’t get home until 3:30. I call in 3 times in reference to the 3 letters I received and they didn’t have any times that I could make work. They told me they would put a note in the system that I called in would put a hold on the service until I could get an appointment. Finally in may, I called in again and said I would just leave work early to get here for my appointment. They said that was fine, I just needed an appointment. I get here for my appointment and they SHUT OFF MY GAS 4 hours before my appointment. The technician apologized and told me they told him that I had no appointment. He said it was their fault and not mine and he’d get it turned back on. Now I receive a bill that’s charging me a $40 reconnection fee. I spoke to THREE different customer service reps who all said that they refuse to waive the fee. ******* the final rep I spoke to agreed that the other reps failed and that my service could’ve been shut off at any time. Tell me how my service can be shut off when I have a service appointment? Better yet why they would shut it off hours before my appointment? Then Katelin hung up on me. This company is an absolute joke. There’s either no communication between their joke of a company or they are hurting for money so badly that they shut your service off the day of your appointment so they can charge you a fee. I already pay $40 to keep an account active that I don’t use half of the year, sure let me pay you some more. Customer service are terrible and rude. This company doesn’t care about their customers only the money. If I ever have the option to switch gas companies, I will leave so fast. I hope one day I never send a dime to this crappy company ever again

      Timeline of Events and Concerns with Enbridge
      • June 5: I went online to make a payment, just like I’ve done many times before except I made a PARTIAL PAYMENT following a scheduled payment of the remaining balance to be paid on June 9.
      • July: When I logged in to make my most recent payment, I noticed the balance had increased unexpectedly—even though no gas had been used.
      The Problem Begins
      Enbridge claimed that the partial payments were rejected by my bank due to a supposed signature mismatch. They instructed me to have my bank submit a statement saying it was their error, and said late and return fees would be waived.
      However, my bank has no record of those transactions at all—as if the payments never reached them. Enbridge then changed their story, saying I must’ve entered incorrect account info, so the payments never went through due to my mistake.
      Here’s the issue: I only use one saved payment method—my card—and I never manually enter full account details. So which is it? My bank rejected it, or Enbridge never sent it due to bad input? Their website even confirms the last used method was my card.
      A Maze of Excuses
      At one point, a rep suggested maybe someone accessed my device and made payments using my account—an outrageous and baseless claim. Then they said I can’t use the bank account method anymore because of the error—even though I never saved bank info to begin with. There’s nowhere on the site that allows me to enter my routing and account number again. That option was supposedly removed.
      I’ve never tried to game the system or ask for more than what’s fair. This situation isn’t just frustrating—it feels like a company dodging responsibility at every turn. And speaking to someone higher up? Good luck with that.
      Very disappointed and dissatisfied with Enbridge’s handling of this.
      I feel it wasn't on me and requested the fees waived while I'm concerned with making any new payments and them being returned with more fees. They denied my request

      For multiple months, I have tried to pay my bill online as I have for years with Dominion with no issues, and Enbridge payments keep getting cancelled. I have paid through multiple banks and still the payments are returned. Now, because the system is recognizing the system error as a returned item from my bank, I will have to get cash out a bank an pay the bill in person. This is unacceptable. The customer service representative was slightly rude and dismissive. The company doesn't seem to care that this is an issue customers are having and that they need to work on the back end of the accounts receivable department so this can be resolved. They have made this completely a customer issue, not a customer service issue. This is time consuming, inconvenient, and an unnecessary hassle.

      $47.55 every month just for a service charge fee is straight up theft. Wherever I rent next, I’ll go out of my way to make sure they don’t use Enbridge because that’s just absolutely ridiculous.

      Less than 0! I had 2 accounts with Dominion once enbridge bought dominion they combined both accounts and now I have 1 bill which causes chaos for me. 1 is my daughters and the other is mine, now we can’t tell who’s bill is who’s! Her bill is always ready for disconnection and mine has never been! Call enbridge multiple times to get separate bills going to each house and they say there’s only 1 account!!! No doubt since you made it one bill!!!! Now my gas is endanger of being disconnected because of this!! I never agreed to this change and have asked numerous times for separate bills to stop all the confusion!!

      I have never missed a paying a bill. I have a 750 credit score. Enbridge has had me as a customer on three homes I own. I just bought another home and tried to get gas in my name. They charged me a security deposit because some uneducated people that are in billing couldn't find my accounts for three other homes that were never late. They are rude and extremely unprofessional. They need to hire people who actually know how to do their jobs. For me to need a security deposit is disgusting! I hate this company.

      After calling TWICE to ask why I can't create an account or get a copy of my bills - which stopped arriving after they switched names - I was told another person called to claim our address. When I asked if anyone verified the account information, the customer service person said they couldn't tell / determine whether any questions had been asked. I asked for it to immediately be put back in my name, to which they responded yes that's what would happen. Months went by and still no bill sent by mail or email. I called again and was told someone else's name is still on my account. I went through the entire process again and asked if they other person was paying the invoice. The answer was NO. So now I'm on the hook for invoices that were sent to another person. Mistake on top of mistake on top of mistake with this group. Buffoons.

      Service was shut off due - I corrected the billing issues THE SAME DAY SERVICE WAS DOSCONNECTED. They told me they have no available reconnections for A WEEK! me and my children will be w/o gas for a week. They are worthless and incompetent.

      This is the worst company in the world to deal with every employee at their call center is completely incompetent. I have been with out gas for a full week because they can’t open a pdf file I have emailed them 5 times. If I could give them zero stars I would.
