      I have attempted to contact Javitch Block multiple times about my account with them. I had paid off my complete balance through garnishment, and my account still showed $500. So I went ahead and paid it after not being about to get ahold of anyone and now it says I owe 69 cents. I don't know my file number and cannot get ahold of anyone to get my file number. This has happened to many people and honestly something needs to be done about it.

      I have been trying to contact this business to settle on a debt collection for the past two weeks. I’ve tried calling dozens of time, waiting for hours on hold, and even left messages with my phone number. I have yet to get into contact with a representative to discuss the debt.

      The business’s statement that “Our firm called the Consumer on 10/12/2024, 10/14/2024, 10/15/2024, and 10/21/2024” is most definitely FALSE, but they did call me today and I was able to answer. 

      The representative was initially terse and argumentative, and stated that they “leave a message every time they call” which is profoundly untrue. 

      After a lengthy back and forth, we were able to reach payment terms. I am VERY GRATEFUL to the BBB for this progress, because without you they were NOT communicating with me at all.

      Due to a debt which has gone to court and one of which that I've been trying to work with Javitch Block about setting up a payment plan but with no response. Over the past several months I've spent hours on the phone on hold but have yet to speak to a representee. In addition, I've sent at least 4 messages through the Javitch block website without response. My objective is to set up a payment plan and have the debt paid off in a few months but can't unless they communicate.

      I have tried multiple times to call and make some type of payment arrangement but they will not return my calls or emails. I don’t know what to do. If I can’t contact them they will freeze my bank account and I will lose everything I have. I don’t know what to do.

      I received a summons from court for javitch block to pay a debt to ****** **** ******* *** ***, I have called them numorous times, sent an email as I want to set up a payment arrangement outside of court and cannot speak to a live person to set up this arrangement and am getting horrible anxiety about this, I have been sitting by my phone waiting for someone to call me so I can get this resolved, its like they dont want to answer and want it to go past the 28 day mark so you have to pay court costs and more money. No one will answer or return my call.

      Company sent a letter to me regarding demand for payment in Feb of 2023 and in April 2023. I have proof of emails and phone calls of attempting to contact the creditors attorney (several ones) since February of this year to resolve this issue. My card was cancelled due to card being used after my belongings were stolen (have reports) and the original creditor closed my account while this issue was in the process. Finally was able to talk to a person regarding demanding garnishment. This person states "nothing can or will be done" regarding this. I can not afford the amount they want and can not get any help or answers from this company as to why nobody ever responded. I did my part and they failed multiple times to respond back.

      a BBB complaint regarding being unable to afford a garnishment.  Our firm called the Consumer on 9/24/2024 and
      spoke with her about what was needed to fill out the form needed to avoid the
      garnishment. She was advised to send a copy of pay stub with any payment to
      best assess if a garnishment was needed to satisfy this debt or if we could
      come to a payment plan.

      Received civil summons on May 14 2024. Called and called and called and left voicemails and was finally able to get a Desiree on the line September 5th and discussed possibly payment arrangement. She said to call back the next Monday or Tuesday to confirm and get setup since it was on a Friday we spoke. Been calling since and have yet get, not only her, but anyone on the phone. I have a date to appear for 09/27/24, on which I have an appointment for wound care at the time and then have to work afterwards. Would really like to settle this out of court but would need to talk to someone to do so.
