    I was contacted by Wayfinder Patient Advocates about assisting me with a number of health/disability related issues. I paid the $495 assessment fee for the initial assessment. When I received the so-called assessment, it was simply a summary of the information I had provided with a list of needs that I had identified. It did not include any of the expertise and analysis that had been promised. It did not include any kind of care planning, despite the fact that it was supposed to serve as a care plan document as well. It did not include any information about prioritization, scheduling, or any other information indicating how/when the business intended to carry out further services. It contained no acknowledgement of the fact that I already had some pieces of assistance in place, for little or no money. Instead, they seemed to assume that they would be taking over everything, with no consideration for my best interests. The paperwork did include a bill for $8,000 less the $495 already paid, due immediately. I cannot afford that, and I had been upfront about my financial circumstances. I feel that the "assessment" provided was so severely lacking that it did not fulfill the terms of the agreement. I suspect that Wayfinder proceeded to the $495 assessment knowing that I could not afford their services and took my money anyway. I had no way of knowing, since they refuse to provide any pricing information upfront except the assessment fee. I would like my $495 back, with an apology and an indication that they understand the problems with the way they handled my case. I'll settle for my money back.
