They later learn that they spoke to Protection Plan Center and have a difficult time canceling the plan that they were told was required. On March 27th, 2020, BBB submitted a written request to the company encouraging them to address the pattern of complaints. The business has responded to the BBB with a detailed plan to better service their customers and ensure more customer satisfaction. The BBB will continue to monitor their complaints.

            Protection Plan Coverage is preying on the elderly. Supposedly, my 87 year old mother signed up for a service that she does NOT even know how to use. Additionally, the representative at Protection Plan Coverage claims my mother must've called them....better yet, they claim that she probably called them by mistake. Thus, you take advantage of a "supposed" mistaken call and the caller ends up with a service that is NOT NEED. More importantly, that felt justified in the service that my mother "agreed" to....SHAME ON YOU! The only reason there preying tactics were discovered is because they called when they were NO longer able to charge her credit card automatically....and I answered the call. THANK GOODNESS! Again, SHAME ON YOU! A C+ rating is too generous for their indiscriminate practices!
