I inquired about a vehicle two months ago. They said it was no longer available. However, I would still get notifications at the vehicle was available. Through **********, car, *****, and the dealership. I received a notification yesterday, replied in the email that I was still interested. They said come out for a test drive. When I drove minutes from my home, they said the lot vehicle is no longer available. I’m like that’s what I thought two months ago. But they were like oh well we have other vehicles, etc. Today I received a text that this vehicle was still available and sent me the link as well. This time I called the dealership directly the salesman said no, but we have other vehicles. This is obviously bait and switch advertising.
Clearly, no reason to do business here

We purchased a used 2012 **** ****** in August from them. After driving it less than 300 miles, it died. We discovered it had an over-sized battery put in most likely to keep enough charge to get it off the lot. We then discovered all parts we've had to replace to get it some what working were original parts. We were told they did an inspection and fixed what was needed. They did nothing. Spark plugs were original Motorcraft Ford spark plugs dated 2011 on them. Oil filter crumbled when we got it out as well as cabin filter. Oil was dirty. It needed the throttle body replaced, A/C compressor failed after 100 miles, thermostat went bad before 150 miles, the complete front end had to be replaced including knuckles. Fuel pump was bad. They did nothing to do it after getting it from auction. Buyer beware!!! Their as is vehicles may bite you in the financial butt as it did us. We have spent $3000 in parts and labor to get it to run somewhat properly and it still has a starting issue. Horrible business practice as well. They advertise some warranty that is mandatory to purchase on *** ***** for $399. When we went to sign paperwork, they attempted to charge $1599. Glad we caught it. When we confronted them, they were trying to defend the charge until I showed them the listing on *** *****. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional all at the same time. Do NOT buy from them if it is an as is purchase.

If it needed any of these things at the time of purchase the car wouldn't have drove properly.

Do not buy a vehicle from Oaks Automotive. They added a $2399.00 package to my purchase agreement without informing me or getting my approval before adding it. Before I even saw the purchase agreement charges, I asked if there were any add-ons and told him I didn't want anything extra. Chance T***** looked me in the eye and lied, saying there were none. Minutes later, my son and I were reviewing the line details on the PA, and we find "Sentinel" and the $2399.00 charge ourselves. I asked Chance what it was. He said "a protection package". I cannot believe he lied. I said again that I don't want it. Chance goes over to Ray. (Ray H*****, who acts as a dealer, finance mgr, and mechanic) Ray comes over, I say again I do not want this package. Ray tells me that the package cannot be removed because the car had "already been treated", which was a lie, and then states that they add this package to every vehicle on their lot. Meaning, they add it without the buyers knowledge or consent, which is a violation of *** rules that state add-ons are NEVER mandatory, and that dealers must inform buyers of any add-ons they offer and inform them that they are optional. They must also remove any add-ons when you decline. They sent the purchase agreement for my son to e-sign with the add-on that they lied even existed, ALREADY on the PA. They were hoping my son would just sign the highlighted boxes and send it in. Consumers beware: what this means is, they illegally add it to every car. If you don't read your PA and sign it, they will never tell you it is there. This means they pocket an extra $2399.00 on every sale and the buyer never knows about the package. This dealership even lied to the BBB when they were contacted about my complaint. They had the audacity to claim they had no sales records in my son and my names, and when that was proven to be yet another lie, they now claim they told me about it in advance and I agreed, knowing they told me it was not removable. Save yourself.

Purchased a car here over the weekend. every single one of the sales reps in the Showroom(not sure if it’s considered a showroom?) was in a great mood and were having fun with us. It was like 100 degrees outside. I think I worked with a guy named Tommy or Tom? Anyway we had been looking at this car for a while and they really did work with us to get a deal going. I get it’s a business and I appreciate that they were willing to work with me on a few options to purchase the car. The car has a few scratches in the [aint but it runs and drives really well. They also replaced the battery before I left to make sure that was fresh! It was fresh and clean, they let me take the car on my own test drive, they didn’t hound me in the parking like they do at every other car lot I’ve ever been to, and they gave me a few days to think about it and still honored the price they told me. Not everyone in business is just trying to make a quick buck and I genuinely appreciate that. The owner of the lot came over to me personally and shook my hand and asked how my buying experience was, and for a company that just moved out here not long ago they turned an old eye sore into a nice lot, and they’re genuinely willing to work with you. I would recommend to my friends

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Best car buying experience ever. Staff was friendly knowledgeable and not pushy at all they were able to help me find my wants and needs in a vehicle that was within my budget. Will definitely come back to purchase another vehicle when that time comes again. Thank you again staff at oaks automotive.
