I’m still in disbelief after what happened today (05/27/2023). I walked into the nail salon and there was a pretty long line. They announced something like a two hour long wait. I had a *** ****** magazine to read and nothing else to do, so I was like why not? Even if I thought to myself that inhaling the chemicals that you can smell as you enter the store is a bad idea. I was actually checking the young kid who must be from the family that owns the store as he was playing on his computer that stands on one of the nail salon’s tables and thinking to myself, this kid’s health is going to be an issue. I waited and waited. And don’t get me wrong, I can’t care less about the wait. Everybody waited. Then Jack did my nails, after he let another customer in front of me that had arrived after me. I should have said something then but I was in a good mood and also in the middle of a great article. He painted my nails. As I was sitting waiting for a gel manicure, I noticed that my big toe nails was not painted in the corner, that some of my little toe nails were half painted. I complained and said that it was a sloppy job, that I couldn’t believe that after three hours I would get such a sloppy result and even told the guy: “you know how to make nails”. Yes, I said that. And the reason why he did this is because he had never seen me before, because I was the only white person in the salon and that I was reading quietly with my glasses and that clearly I was not going to yell at him and gang up on him if it happened. They insisted on fixing my nails and I understood it would be free. Instead they screamed at me, with the help of another customer who really thought that I was an entitled white b***h for even making such an *absurd request*. I’ve never felt so scammed ever, I actually cried as I left the store giving them $37+ for the worse nail job and most horrible experience in customer care in my life. I want a full refund. This business should also be inspected.
