Date of service 4-20-21 I meet with the representative of Midwest brace in ********* **** in the parking lot next to **** ***** and ******. She fitted me for the brace and gave me paperwork stating my balance was zero dollars. Later I received a bill from ******** ************ (Billing company for Midwest Brace per them) for $120. I called ******** ************ sent them my paperwork stating my balance was $0. They told me my new balance was zero dollars. I sent them an email of the picture of my paperwork from Midwest Brace. They told me they would write off the balance, I spoke with Tanya. I did not receive any paperwork starting that unfortunately, I took there verbal word of this. Then I received another bill, stating I owed $135 included a late fee. I thought it was a mistake and I did not follow up. Then I really received a letter from a collection company in behalf of ******** ************ about my late bill that I thought was taken care of already. I called ******** ************ they gave me contact information for Eric a sales representative at Midwest brace starting they are not allowed to write off anymore bills. I started calling him "Eric" on November 5th, every phone call was sent to voicemail without a return call. I then got the phone number for Dan the owner on November 9th 2021 and started calling while leaving voicemails. I finally received a phone call back Nov 24 2021 unfortunately I was at the doctor's office and he was supposed to call me back in an hour. Dan never called me back again. Midwest Brace is a ghost online and I can't find anything about them. I feel like they are trying to illegally bill me more than our agreed amount.
