      I feel I've been ripped off by Gutter Boys Inc. of Covington and Colerain Avenue to the tune of $251.68 but I'm really more concerned with stopping these guys from any further contact with me.
      A neighbor recommended Gutter Boys when he was rehabbing his house at **** ***** ******. We live three houses up at **** ***** ******. I called Gutter Boys in March; they (supposedly) came out much later, in April. We were home all day (we're both retired) and saw no trucks or ladders near the house, nor was a card left on the door, as they promised, though they charged us for the non-visit.

      One of the services Gutter Boys provides is a check for gutter replacement AND the actual repair of leaks. We have three important leaks; they were untouched. This lack of servicing, plus the lack of a card indicating their presence, led us to believe that Gutter Boys did NOT clean or repair our gutters. Nevertheless, our account was charged $251.68 on Apri 14.

      GB agreed to send "a team" out to review our situation. As of May 31, forty-seven days later, they had not come. But on May 31 I saw the Gutter Boys truck up the street—at the ********* residence, 1632 Bruce—and the "team" checking the spots on the ********* home they were supposed to check on ours. A guy at the GB office said we were "soon," but the GB truck drove away. I called them today (June 12) and a rude woman told me she'd now "put me in the queue."
      I think the Gutter Boys mixed up the two addresses, and mistakenly "serviced" the ********* home rather than ours. Their rude denials and angry responses to my complaints—as well as their refusal to actually show up here and check their work—makes me worried that I will be scammed again in the future. Of course I would like my $251.68 back, but more than that I want to stop the bleeding. I'm not sure these guys know what they're doing. These people are rude, do not keep their promises or do the work they charge you for, and perhaps are scamming others.

Please know that we take this seriously, and it is being addressed appropriately within our office to ensure it does not happen again. We appreciate the opportunity to make things right and want to confirm that a team will be at your home tomorrow, June 13th, to complete the necessary service and resolve the issue. During the visit, we will also be checking all gutters and downspouts to assess for any potential issues and ensure everything is functioning properly.       I was charged on $160.56 6/2/24 for gutter cleaning by Cincy Gutter Boys after waiting 25 days to get my gutters cleaned (even though their hold message talks about how they come out and clean gutters during the rain). I originally called them after finding them on ****** for a rental property I own in ********. I had to call multiple times over several weeks after my tenants said that no one ever showed up. I vividly remember asking one time if I was getting scammed because I'm out of state and I just couldn't understand why noone was ever showing up to clean my gutters. When I originally set up my service with them, I asked to be put on a 6 month cleaning service plan based on their reviews and reputation, but after having to constantly call and beg them to come and clean my gutters, I no longer trusted the company. Then, as soon as they finally came out to my property to clean the gutters, I started getting multiple calls daily about fixing and replacing my gutters, and I told the company about how horrible my expereince with them had been, and I wanted nothing to do with them ever again and to cancel everything. I repeated this to at least 6 different sales people because the calls kept coming in from so many different numbers at different times of the day that it became unbearable, and I figured the sales people might as well understand why I would never buy anything ever from their company and I hoped that one day someone would understand that I was disgusted enough that they would finally remove me from their database becasue I started to look forward to telling whoever called from the company about how horrible my expreince was and how I never wanted anything ever to do with the comany again. Today, I got a notice I was billed for a service for them. I called and was told I never cancelled the future service, that I would be sent an audio recording of my call with the company and that I owed them. Unbelievable. I regret finding this company on ******

      Additionally, we have taken steps to remove the contact information associated with this matter. Unless further contact is made, we will not provide additional services to this client.

      I have a Creditor by the name ******* ******* ******** on my Credit report stating I owe A debt ($192)from "Gutter Boys" in Cincinnati, ohio at the address of **** ******** ***.
      I DO NOT KNOW THAT ADDRESS OR ANYONE LIVING THERE, NEVER BEEN THERE. I HAVE NEVER DELT WITH GUTTER BOYS. THIS IS NOT MY DEBT

      This is the first time we have heard about this from *******, so we quickly inquired to our Collection Agency (******* ******* ********) to see if they had the wrong ******* Allen. We thought it could be a possibility since this ******* Allen's email and phone number were different from what we had in our system. After a few emails back and forth, this is the final response from Fairway:

      "We are sure this is not the same *******.  SS# that was
      found by our skip trace vendor belongs to ******* M Allen in Lancaster, not
      ******* M Allen in Cincinnati.  We issued a deletion request to the credit
      bureau for ******* Allen in Lancaster. 
      We will close this account, and no fee would be charged."

      We are very sorry for any inconvenience caused by the ******* M Allen that filed this BBB complaint. This is the first time in 10 years of working with collection agencies that this has happened to us. 

      Again, we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused you, *******. Your credit should go back to what it is supposed to be as soon as the deletion request goes through. If you do not see the proper action take place in the next week, please call our office at 513-490-9382.
