    I was a patient at Pleasant Run Dental (PRD) for several years'. I have 2 dental insurance policies (primary and secondary) and PRD would bill both of them. In 2022 they told me they would only bill primary insurance. At that time, I had 2 bills pending prior to their notification. I was unable to submit these bills for payment because my insurance told me I needed documentation (which PRD. told me I did not need). I told PRD that if they would bill my secondary insurance for the bills prior to their notification the issue would be closed, but if not, I would go to the BBB. I received the following letter which stated "This letter is to notify you that we are terminating the patient Doctor relationship between you and Dr. D******. All future appointments have been removed from our schedule. We will provide emergency services for you on a cash basis for 30 days from today's date. After that, no services will be provided for you by our office". I always paid promptly for services. Other issues also arose when I made an appointment for a root canal but was scheduled for more extensive procedure. He told me 'we are family here and I have to believe what they said. I was charged for an office visit and received no care. I have changed my dentist to ****** dental Services who bill my primary and secondary insurance. I had other concerns about PRD that I do not have the space to report. Let me summarize by saying I DO NOT recommend Pleasant Rund Dental.

    Mr. ********* records evidence direct communication about our policies and protocols. Mr. ******* denies having been informed of treatment that was scheduled and financial responsibilities of the patient vs the practice. MR ******* WAS INFORMED AND IT IS DOCUMENTED. The fact that Mr. ******* does not like a policy or procedure at our office does not require us to change it, nor does it give him a basis for making threats. Mr. ******* called asking us to prescribe medication for him to go to another dentist. That is in and of itself quite unreasonable. We did nothing wrong, and the things Mr. ******* doesn't like were documented, but still not inappropriate or wrong. Mr. ******* made demands that were not reasonable, and reported documents were sent to his insurance that his insurance directly denied to us. In fact, they stated they don't even know what Mr. ******* is talking about. His insurance company stated "you do not have to file any claims for any patients...the fact that you do is a courtesy to the patient. He is demanding you send to a secondary insurance when you informed him you wouldn't be?" The forms Mr. ******* sent us are not appropriate forms for him to file dental claims. Mr. ******* was dismissed because despite being well-informed of what are his vs our responsibilities are, he would not accept the answers provided. That correlates with "my expectations are unrealistic."
