      On Aug 8th I ordered an expansion tank, PN ******, from Winstel Controls. They said it would take 4 - 6 weeks for delivery. I agreed. I received a different tank, PN ******, on August 27th. The dimensions were completely different and the connection was on the top instead of the bottom and it was 3/4" instead of 1". It is two inches wider and about ten inches shorter. I ordered that specific tank for a direct replacement. I contacted the company about the issue and at first they were going to look into it and try to get me the right tank. Then they said that it was a direct replacement and I could just re-pipe my system. If it's a direct replacement I wouldn't have to re-pipe anything. I told them I either wanted the tank I ordered, a bladder for the tank I have, or a refund. After weeks of going back and forth with them, today, Sept 22nd, I received an email giving me an address that I can ship the tank to with a 25% restocking fee and I still need a tank. We are disputing the charge with our credit card company and waiting to get a refund so I can order the bladder from a local company since this company doesn't want to do anything to try to make this right. I've been patient for about a month waiting for them to correct their mistake. They said they sent me an option of two tanks and sent the one I chose. They never sent an option or I would have declined the offer and kept looking. I asked for the proof of the option but nothing was ever provided. And, I just found out while writing this that Bill, the guy that said he gave me an option, no longer works there. All I need is a shipping label and no restocking fee so I can go get what I need. I shouldn't have to pay just because they sent me the wrong tank and say all I have to do is re-pipe it. Even if I was going to do that, there is added expense for parts needed. That extra two inches around doesn't sound like much but when you don't have the room it might as well be 2 feet.

      I have been in contact with the customer. He will be taken care of early next week. We are providing a full credit and even paying for the freight back to us.
