            Awning quality and installation crew are great. Sales process is poor. After I selected awning and features, we agreed upon a price and I signed the agreement paying 50% of the total cost (total cost almost $8,000). Prior to installation I received a call from the saleslady indicating that the installation cost needed to increase $600 due to mounting the awning to a board on the roof. She suggested that we split the cost, I agreed, and we scheduled the install.When the installers arrived I asked if they knew why the install went up $600, they said they knew nothing about the sales side. I asked to see the mounting board. It was a 2"X12" painted black. I contacted the saleslady and again questioned the cost of the board, the saleslady told me it was so costly due to labor prices. The installers were her less then 2 hours total.What a joke!Beware of poor sales process and pricing increases after the sale.

            We respect ******************' comments. To this end, we have changed our specifications so that all installations of this type will have the header board priced into the initial contract. It is not our standard practice to increase the price after the sale, and we regret any hardship this caused the customer. As to the actual cost of the board, much of the preparation was done in house (procurement, paint costs, labor costs to paint and attach the brackets to the board). All told, the total price including board was $7,500. We hope this investment pays off for years to come, shading his deck and providing aesthetic beauty.
