      To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the poor customer service I have received from ********************** Life **********************. I have been a customer of ********************** Life ********************** for over 30 years, but the recent experience I have encountered has been both frustrating and unacceptable. On August 20th, Gerber Life Insurance withdrew two payments from my account without my authorization, which led to an accumulation of a $31 fee. I immediately contacted their customer service department to resolve the issue, and I have since made a total of five calls to discuss the matter with their representatives. Despite my efforts, Gerber Life Insurance has shown little to no concern for the inconvenience caused by their error. During my initial call, a representative incorrectly insisted that I had made two payments. When I clarified that this was not the case and requested they review their call recordings for verification, I was informed that it would take up to 23 days for a refund to be processed. This delay is unacceptable, given the error was on their part, and I should not be penalized further by having to wait nearly a month to be reimbursed. I am reaching out to both the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and ************************ (***) to request your intervention in this matter. As an organization committed to protecting consumer rights and fostering ethical business practices, I believe your involvement can help ensure Gerber Life Insurance addresses this issue promptly and correctly. I respectfully request that Gerber Life Insurance immediately refund the erroneous charge, including the additional $31 fee incurred due to their mistake. I also request a formal apology for the inconvenience and poor service I have experienced. I trust you will take this matter seriously and look forward to your prompt response. Thank you for your attention to this issue.

      I decided to cancel my policy with Gerber Life because once I sent in my application for whatever reason the original amount changed. So I told them I couldn’t afford the policy because I’m on a fixed income they were supposed to send me cancellation forms. When I didn’t receive them they emailed me forms to print out so I did an sent them back I received confirmation that they received the forms plus copies of my drivers license and my husband. Now they want me to send it to them in PDF when I have no way of doing that then Betty one of the representatives suddenly puts me on hold without so much of a word that she’s doing so. She comes back to the phone and tells me to fax the information so I can get my money back I feel like they are giving me the runaround about my own money I’ve done everything they asked me to do it should not be this hard to get my money back since it wasn’t that hard for them to take it out of my account.
