    Regards,

**** *******erything easier for everyone. I disagree I think it makes it easier on them, and allows them to make more money off the loans and does not help the customer. I explained to Brad how on the website there was no mention of not accepting outside financing, actually there was one link that allowed to you calculate how much you would pay for the vehicle if you "use my bank". Another link on the dealers website said "70% of our customers decide to finance with us"... then what do the other 30% do Brad? Brad told me that while he had been with the dealership for 40 years he "hasn't been on the website in a while". I believe that they should remove any information on their website that mentions using your own bank, and even include a disclaimer that they do not accept outside financing. I feel like this is a classic bait and switch that they advertise one price, make you believe that you can purchase the vehicle however you want, then force their own financing at higher rates on you.

    Regards,

****** ******telling him as they might be able to price match it. I found a battery and proceeded to call Oct 17, and of course no answer, so I just went in and was able to price match the battery and add an oil change, which was not added as it was supposed to be. I was told it would be done later Friday 18th or Monday 21st morning. I waited until after noon to call and left a message. I called the receptionist and she gave them a message to call back. I even called the manager of huebners and still no call back. My daughter went in as she was in the area, only to find out the car wasn’t done and wouldn’t be until Tues Oct 22nd. I sent a message through their online forum on the 21st asking for resolution and nobody reached out. As of noon on Oct 22, I still haven’t received a call back and it has been over a week they have had my brothers car. Nobody will help from the dealership and I don’t know where to go next for help.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]
The $187.50 that was paid by Huebner was for diagnostic testing in the area of my vehicle in which they needed to check. It wasn’t for any repairs. I stayed at the shop for 5 and a half hours. After ******* did the diagnostics on my vehicle, they said that my front and rear brakes and rotors needed to be replaced. They also stated that my Thermostat needed to be replaced as well. I also needed an alignment. At first Huebner said they would cover the cost. But 20 minutes later the sales guy came out and told me that Huebner refused to pay for the cost of the repairs. This truck was delivered to me in this condition. The truck was delivered on 5/17/2023. I was in Boston at the time but on 5:18 I drove this truck and noticed it immediately and called and emailed Nick about it immediately. Nick told me that he was very busy with a lot of customers and that he wasn’t the guy that made the final say as to if the repairs would be covered. Now I’m being told that my head gaskets are warped and my engine may go at any time because of an issue that Huebner should’ve taken care of before shipping the truck. I would like for Huebner Subaru to pay for my truck to get fixed or just take it back and give me a refund.

    Regards,

******* *****plained to him that I didn’t feel that I should be responsible for these repairs. I just had got the vehicle delivered and immediately had the problems. The codes had to have been cleared with a scanner before being delivered to my home. He told me to bring it to a ***** or *** dealership and that they would take care of me. I immediately scheduled an appointment at the closest ***** dealership and then followed up with them. I was there for 5.5 hours. They gave me a Diagnosis test on my vehicle. It turned out that I was right. The Front and Rear Brake Pads and Rotors needed to be replaced. The Thermostat needed to be replaced… slight play in right rear tow link and wheel alightment. Huebner agreed to pay for the repairs but when they found out it was going to cost over $2000.00, they changed their minds and said no. I want every last cent that I paid this dealership which is $15,535.00

    Business Response

    Date: 10/10/2023

After reviewing the complaint, this is our response.  First, the vehicle was sold "As-Is" (see attached).   However, as a customer goodwill adjustment,  Huebner Chevrolet paid the Repair order bill from ******* ********* of $187.50.  I have attached our repair order showing that on 5/9/23 during our inspection, we replaced the front brake pads and turned rotors as well as a few other repairs totalling $1579.34 (see attached).   After the repair from ******* ********* we have had no contact from the customer until this complaint, with the exception of a few calls in July related to title work processing.  As far as I am aware, there has not been any refusal to assist the customer.  This complaint comes approximately 5 months after the purchase.
