    I am following the same complaint as person from 9/25/24, as the exact thing happened to me in March 2025.
    I followed Patriot's guide to work with their payroll and input all my confidential company information. After submitting my company documents which included confidential bank statements, social security numbers and EIN numbers and credit card, they suddenly blocked me out of the software with an "incorrect password" even though what I entered was correct. I hit please reset password, but no password link is sent to Inbox or Junk mail, after more than 6 attempts to reset. I called multiple times and also left chat messages. Each time, I am denied anyone speaking to my on the phone to give a proper answer as to what is happening. They only to say "Please wait for email response.. should be by end of day. Email is only method." When I followed up again after 5 days of no email and re-inquiry, I am abruptly emailed that "Patriot is unable to provide services to you. This is based on a variety of factors regarding the decision to deny services. Patriot Software is not at liberty to disclose our methods regarding the denial of services.... This is final and an appeal process is not available".
    There is absolutely no indication of reason (and definitely nothing outlined in the process as to what would consequent denial). They have not notified me of what happened with all data associated with my account and personal details.
    This is completely A FRAUD of a service, and extremely unfair to any unknowing new customer. IN NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM SHOULD YOU SIGN UP. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

    I canceled my program over 4 months ago and they continued to charge me and will not refund me even though I told them multiple times to cancel. Their response:
    Unfortunately, as you were a full-service client and the account was not closed, we would have continued to file on your behalf. We will not be able to honor your refund request. I do apologize for the inconvenience.
    I expect a refund if I cancel. Terrible business practices.
