- Advertising Review:
On June 5, 2025, Better Business Bureau (BBB) contacted Universal Physicians, LLC regarding multiple advertising claims that were listed on their website.
According to BBB Code of Advertising, the primary responsibility for truthful and non-deceptive advertising lies with the advertiser, who must be prepared to substantiate any objective claim made before publication. Upon request, they should present such substantiation promptly to the advertising medium or BBB.
The business was receptive in modifying/removing claims. On July 8, 2025, Universal Physicians, LLC was receptive in modifying most claims. But, the following claims still exist: 'Satisfaction Guarantee', 'Physician's Advisory from Dr. Phillip Howeren', and "Manufacturer Voucher to get 51% off, so I don't pay the In Store price of $399'.
9. Sales - Retailers can advertise “sales” where they are offering a significant reduction in price for a limited period of time. At the end of the sale period, retailers can, in good faith, convert the sale price to a new regular price if they no longer claim a savings.
20. Warranty of Guarantees - When using the term “warranty” or “guarantee” in product advertising, the advertiser must clearly and conspicuously include a statement that the complete details of the warranty can be seen prior to sale at the advertiser's location, viewed on the advertiser’s website or, in the case of mail or telephone order sales, made available free on written request.
30. Testimonials and Endorsements - Advertisers should ensure that testimonials and endorsement are not misleading and represent the current opinion of the endorser. A consumer endorser’s experience should reflect what users generally achieve, unless there is a clear and conspicuous disclosure of what the expected results will be. Advertisers should not include claims in testimonials that they themselves cannot make and support.
As of July 28, 2025, the BBB has not received any additional responses from the business. The BBB will continue to monitor the situation.

Customer reviews posted on/after July 5, 2024, will be published indefinitely unless otherwise voluntarily retracted by the user who submitted the content, or BBB no longer believes the review is authentic.
