***** from Patriot CRSM was contracted to replace 13 windows at my mother's house. The scope of work agreed upon included demolition and removal of existing windows, removal of existing interior trim, installation of new windows, insulation of newly installed windows, installation of interior trim, installation of color matching exterior trim, and cleanup of materials and debris. The first payment of $3750 (50% of the $7500 total) was made on 3/22/2022. A second payment of $3000 was requested by ***** to continue work and was paid on 9/22/2022. As of today 10/31/2023 ***** still has 4 windows to complete. We have tried to contact ***** countless times to get him to finish his job but almost every time he responds with crazy lies about having foot surgeries, fixing his truck, having to go to court, and many other crazy excuses. On the days he does actually show up he barely manages to get any work done. I got involved in sept. of 2023 and called *****. When I asked why he has taken over 18 months to replace 13 windows ***** has told me that he has been pressuring my mother (73 yrs old) and sister to let him and any unknown workers he has with him to have a key and full access to the house and that it was a reason why he hasn't been able to finish his job. He also let me know that they are some of the only people to not let him have a key. He has never pulled any city mandated permits or had any inspections. He had taken so long between installing a window and coming back to install the exterior trim that birds had started to nest inside the siding of the house! It's unbelievable how long this has taken and honestly I'm embarrassed I didn't get involved sooner.
