We just learned that the vehicle we purchased from KDK was sold to us with the wrong sized tires (tires are too small for the vehicle). We learned this only because the ABS, 4WD and other warning lights came on to indicate there was a problem after we put the spare (correct sized tire) onto the vehicle… The warning lights came on, the car pulls to the right and there is a thumping/grinding noise when we drove the car. We called KDK and they were defensive saying they bought the car from an auction and don’t check tires (they were brand new when we bought the car and cannot know whether it was sold to them that way or if they put the wrong sized tires on it before we purchased it). We asked them to look at it and assess the damage and he hung up on us. We’ve spoke to ******* tire and ******’s and both said that the tires never should have been put on this car as it could cause damage and one indicated that it is unlawful and both said it is unsafe to drive the vehicle with tires that are too small. A quick google search indicates: If you were in an accident that could have resulted because of tires in the wrong size, the seller could be liable. Selling vehicles with incorrect tire sizes is a form of negligence that puts your safety and your life at risk.
