The following describes a pending government action that has been formally brought by a government agency but has not yet been resolved. We are providing a summary of the governments allegations, which have not yet been proven.
On July 24, 2024, the Ohio Attorney General's Office filed a civil lawsuit in Fairfield County Common Pleas Court against defendants Jeffrey Grimes and In And Out Creations, LLC, who solicited and sold home improvement goods and services.
The Ohio Attorney General's office and the lawsuit allege the defendants took payments from consumers but did not do the work, failed to complete the work, provided shoddy substandard work, failed to correct work, and/or failed to provide refunds.
The lawsuit seeks restitution for the victims, civil penalties and an injunction to prevent Grimes and his business from continuing to violate the law or do business until restitution is paid.
