    I am continually being sued by Unifund CCR for a debt which as stated by them is over 20+ years old. They have told me they do not have any paperwork because the debt is so old. I have informed them the debt is not mine, Most recently they took money from my bank account which left me unable to pay for necessities such as food. I just turned 65 year old and this is causing a lot of stress.

    Unifund llc bought my collection from another company and is now trying to collect on it I have issues with someone using my credit information and has issues with fraud

    They have not answered any of my questions I have not recieved any paperwork on this and would like this removed I have sent you guys the information that I have and I told you for them I was a victim of fraud and would like this solved immediately and removed from my credit report and I am not sure who did the fraud only that I know I was told by the irs fraud has occured and that the company bought this from Portfolio recovery and they said they no longer were handling this as unifund bought it from them.

    On January 9, 2024, I submitted a dispute letter to Unifund CCR LLC requesting verification of a debt that appeared on my credit report. I explicitly disputed this debt on the grounds that I do not owe any party the amount they are claiming. Furthermore, I have no prior knowledge of Unifund CCR LLC, and I am skeptical about their legal authority to collect from me.

    As per the provisions outlined in the ***** Finance Code, Unifund CCR LLC was obligated to respond to my request for verification within 30 days. However, despite the passage of time, there has been no evidence to suggest that they have complied with this statutory requirement.

    The lack of response from Unifund CCR LLC raises serious concerns about the validity of the debt they are attempting to collect. Without proper verification, I am left in a state of uncertainty regarding the legitimacy of the claim against me. Moreover, their failure to adhere to legal obligations only exacerbates these concerns.

    Therefore, I am respectfully requesting the removal of the disputed and unverified account from my credit report. It is imperative that Unifund CCR LLC takes immediate action to rectify this situation and provides me with the necessary documentation to substantiate their claim.

    Please refer to all documents included in this claim. This company is reporting an alleged collection to my credit bureaus. i sent a letter to the business asking to prove/ validate the collection and send me such proof. based on the tax code of the USA this company would've had 30 business days to reply to me with an answer. They didnt! and yet the collection is still reporting to my credit. This is at this point illegal.
    Keep in mind this is not a request to validate anymore! They had their chance. This is a request for removal!!
    I dont want to take this any further but I will if i have to.

    Thank you for investigating my claim. When requesting the contract originally, I had contacted Unifund CCR by phone however then sent a written letter to their main office. Unfortunately, I do not have a copy of the letter as it wasn't sent electronically.

    My name is **** ***********. I have never had an account with ********! I contacted the bank and provided my social, they have no recollection of me what so ever! Cannot provide them a credit card or bank account number, nothing because I have never had an account with them! Received a notice on 10/01/2023 that I have collection for ******** with the amount of $651 through UNIFUND CCR LLC. I have not received an email or a physical letter from both of these companies because I have never had an account with ********!
    I want this off my credit today!! I am about to file a police report.

    I got a letter from a lawyer in ********* saying I owe a large amount from ***** Bank in 2009 that I never had to begin with. They never sent me anything about this debt. Till September 2023. And said if dont pay then they assume it's mine and take action. That I have to pay Unifund ********* ******
