Over the past 6-8 months have spent around $8000 with this company. I thought they felt I was a loyal customer but I recently bought a firearm from them and it was broke in the box. So I took it back to get it exchanged and they refused saying it was a used gun and they could not sell it. I said I just bought it 5 days ago and just return it to the company or distributor and they responded then I would have to pay $50 for shipping. Then the gunsmith took the gun without asking into the back and did god knows what to it, a brand new gun, and comes back out saying it works now. I have no idea what he did to it, shoved a screwdriver in it or hit it with a mallet I don’t know but it being a brand new gun should not have needed it. And if it needed it the company should take care of it. But now I have a $500 paper weight and I’m not going to shoot it because if it was broke in the box it maybe broke in other places. Then the next day I wrote on Facebook that it’s a bad day when mad river firearm cares more about money than about their customers. Then they banned me from the Facebook page and store just so they don’t get bad publicity. Not a good place for ppl to buy firearms.
