While of course I can do a gentle, relaxing massage, I most enjoy working on areas of pain, trauma or injury, such as the neck, low back, etc. I have been trained in working with TMJ (jaw pain) also. I encourage my clients to give me feedback on depth of pressure, temperature, etc. I've had training in about 8 different kinds of massage over the years, but I most value what I learned with Neuro-Muscular massage, that is working specifically with exactly which muscles are causing the problem. My depth of pressure ranges from very gentle energy work to a medium strong consistant pressure or glide. There is also a method of doing the OPPOSIT of a stretch, which helps the muscle relax.
