    I have been a long-standing customer (2014 / 11 years) of Payroll 4 Free but the last month and a half has been a debacle. Last month I went to run payroll and the system stated that it wanted X amount of money to batch out. I thought there was a glitch since I hadn't received an email regarding a change in that I would have to pay to batch for the two employees. Emailed customer service and they were not helpful. I paid the money in order to batch via ACH and still was unable to process. When I contacted them again they stated ACH transfers weren't working, mind you they took the money out of my account, and told me I would have to use a credit card. Talked to lady named ****** and she said she was having issues refunding me the money and that she needed to work with their processor. Never received a follow up and when I emailed her on 10/13/25, she was out of the office until 10/16/25. Also discovered that I will have to pay to obtain the federal tax forms. This is crazy. The website still states they are free for businesses under $10 but that is not the case. Still no communication of the changes and less than stellar customer service. What happened to this company. It is sad from what used to be a great option for small businesses is no longer.

    Losing accreditation would be correct and a F rating is correct. We used them for years and had one issue with taxes not being paid. Until again this year 2025 when they didnt pay taxes and wouldnt respond to emails etc for nearly three months. Finally got them caught up, but all penalties, interest, and late fees should have been paid by PR4Free since the non payment was their fault as we pay for that service.
    Now as of 8/2025 our payro9ll is held at ransom due to the without warning or notice that they will no longer allow weekly payroll, but once a month. No notice, no time to adjust, not even enough time to change services.
    If you have an easy question you may get a response in a reasonable amount of time, but if there is an issue I would fully expect a no reesponse.

    I would give Payroll4Free zero stars if I could. I have been a client for several years, and when Mike was running things, it was pretty decent. However, ever since Chaim took over, things have gone downhill FAST. It is impossible to reach anyone for customer service issues, and they constantly miss filing deadlines for payroll forms and payments. Then, they flat out refuse to reimburse you for any penalties that are assessed by the IRS or the state. Chaim has no idea how to run a business and it almost appears as if he is intentionally running Payroll4Free into the ground. At this point, they deserve to have a class action lawsuit filed against them for FRAUD! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

    Absolutely horrible customer service. I gave them my paper work 2 months ago. After several times being told "just 2 weeks more" I decided to go with another company. I think I dogged a HUGE bullet - payroll is too important to leave with unprofessional companies. All I lost was a bunch of time and 2 months of frustration
