We signed a year contract on 8/26/2022 for a weekly visit from them checking the traps and moving to areas with high activity. We paid 275. Per quarter for a total of 1100.00. We have left messages for weeks asking someone to check the traps, they have gotten no moles since March and have not moved the traps. We have contacted the CEO three times with no return call. Someone came last week, left his car running, and was here a total of 3 minutes, without moving or changing the traps. Two of the four traps were not even set. This is the second year we have had them and got concerned with our yard having so much activity and no moles being caught. We have asked for the last quarter payment to be returned as they have not done what they committed to, however, have been told they will not refund us.

I entered into a contract with Trap Your Moles in April of this year for six months of mole service. The contract was paid in full day of signing. For the past five months of service there were no problems. The technician would call in advance discussing the date and time he was coming to service my yard (front and back). The security gate is kept chained to prevent people from going into the back yard where tools and equipment are stored. Recently, I received a telephone message from a representative of Trap Your Moles, having received a call from the technician stating he was hindered from doing his job because a security gate was chained. The representative continued to plead a case on behalf of the technician asking for greater flexibility with security being unchained. When I called the number provided by the representative to discuss the matter in person, the call went to a voicemail mailbox which stated the representative was unavailable to take the call. The second attempt netted the same result. In my opinion this matter was handled very unprofessionally by the company representative who appeared to be more concerned with the call of the technician and not of a paid customer.

The client has received exactly what he paid for his complaint is not warranted furthermore he told the Trapper who manages his lawn that 11:00 a.m. is too early and they have to come later which was impossible for the trapper. Nowhere in the contract does it state that our Trappers have to check yards at certain times or days in fact they are told that it may not be the same time or day and our Trapper has done exactly what the contract has stated therefore this complaint is not only unreasonable but invalid and unwarranted.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, reasons for rejection are included below.

To BBB: Thank you for your promptness with this concern. Unfortunately, my issue was not properly addressed. I am concerned that I received a lengthy call from the owner and responded quickly. However, after two messages, I have yet to receive a return call. The owner managed to reply to BBB without delay! Prior to this issue I have cooperated in an amicable manner with the service person. Typically, the customer/client is always given consideration since thy are paying for the service. The copy of the contract I have does not address time frames or dates. Nevertheless, there is time remaining on the contract and I anticipate the service until completion. I must say I am very disappointed in the response provided by the company owner to BBB.

    1) My issue of failure to communicate was not/has not been addressed.

    2) No communique received from the company.

    Regards,

I hired them to trap my moles and paid them. They were to come and check the traps weekly. They came the first 2 weeks then they quit coming to check the traps. When I contacted them they said that they had employee problems. I canceled the contract and asked for a prorated refund. Haven't gotten any refond.
