I went to Heaven T*****, a local stylist, on 6/1/2023 for a consultation on hair extensions. Heaven T***** is the owner of It's Heaven, LLC - a salon in Avon, OH. During the consultation, Heaven told me that the hair extensions from her supplier, Hotheads, would last 9-12 months as long as they are taken care of properly. During the consultation, Heaven ordered me a pack of hair extensions from the supplier costing $327.43. I went back to It's Heaven on 6/9/2023 for her to install the extensions. The cost of the installation was $504.00. I reached out to Heaven on 6/14/2023, six days after the installation, because my hair extensions looked damaged and had significant dryness. This was disappointing because she had assured me that the extensions would last close to a year. She asked me to come into the salon so that I could try out and purchase the hair line that she carries to "repair" the extensions. My gut instinct was telling me to not purchase anything else from her. I had another local stylist look at the extensions. The other stylist confirmed that they were a damaged product, there was no way of "repairing" the extensions, and that they should be removed from my hair. Heaven never offered to order a new pack of extensions or install a new pack for free. Heaven asked if I could bring the extensions to her salon in Avon, OH so that she could return them directly to her supplier (Hotheads). I agreed to bring the extensions to her, and I dropped them off on 6/26/2023. Heaven notified me on 6/27/2023 that she was working on getting me a refund for the extensions. Since then, she has not provided me with an update on the refund. Furthermore, she has blocked my cell phone number, and I have no way of communicating with her. She is currently in possession of the extensions that I have paid for. I would like to be fully refunded for the damaged product and installation of the damaged product - a total of $831.00.
