After finally closing a refinancing mortgage with **** I received a call from *** with Enterprise insurance Advisors number ************ affirming that Old Republic sent them a check for the insurance premium but they will void it as it was the wrong party to mail it to, they were not going to be able to cash the check. I called back and *** actually confirmed that no payment was needed as I had paid the whole year premium on June 24th 2021. I emailed Old republic on November 5th 2021 to ask clarification of why that check was sent when the premium was already paid off. ******, ******* the scrow closing examinator from Old Republic (**************************** /phone: ************) asked for proof of payment and I prompty sent it which I am attaching. They affirmed they would look into it. I reached out for update on November 8th and he replied: "Yes, I received the scans and our accounting team is working on it. Shouldn’t be long now" I reached out again after 10 days and received no reply at all. I gave them more time considering Thanksgiving holiday. After trying to reach out december 2nd almost a month after my first email I only get their automatic reply of out of office. I need clarification of why the overpayment and to know if this will be refunded to me or placed back on the scrow account. I have been checking the scrow account online and up to today december 3rd it has not been reflected there either. When I called ****** (the mortage company/bank) they had no idea of what I was referring to as this was done during the closing on October 2021 Please help.
