I own a construction company in *************. I heavily invest in tools to do my work. Up until this time I have used DeWalttools and occasionally a very expensive tool will be defected, and ********** will usually swap it out for me. I have a 20 V sander That I purchased at the ***************** and it broke about a month ago and ********** swapped it out for me. Now magically its notin the computer system anymore, and they are refusing to swap it out for me. The electronics in the sander are completely burned up and it will even turn on. I use the ******* for very light duty work and drywall finishing. They are very handy when they work, but this one is defective.I also invest in even the highest and most expensive DeWalt tools, including their battery operated air compressor. In order to use the battery air compressor You need to use a very large 10 amp hour battery or it will only run for a minute because it drinks a lot of power. Ihave two of these 10 amp hour batteries and both of them are completely shot and do not work anymore. They are under a year old I purchased these two on **** and the seller is no longer in business. So I contacted DeWalt and I uploaded photos of the sale and the date and the person selling them, which was com named first Battery. After doing this aggressive warranty data on the website and emailing it to a representative a few days later I received an email from a Dewalt rep ****** for the very same items that I had attached to the original email. I reattached the photos again and sent it back to ****** now there is no response from her anymore. I was initially complaining about only one of the batteries, but now two of the batteries arebad and one of the little orbital ******* 20 V is also bad. I would like to see Dewalt take care of their loyal customers, but Ive never had to go to ********************** for support before, and Ican tell they are ducking me, and trying to avoid me asking repetitive questions as if Im just talking to ai

    Better Business Bureau:

At this time, I have not been contacted by DeWalt Service Center regarding complaint ID ********.

I have loyalty supported this company for many many years and purchased tens of thousands of dollars from their company.  With the terrible customer ********************** I am now getting and the faulty batteries they are selling. I will not be buying DeWalt batteries anymore and from now on Ill be buying knock off batteries from **********.  Ive spoken to dozens and dozens of contractors that are all saying the same thing. They are absolutely fed up with DeWalt and they are done using DeWalt batteries. Im going to keep publicizing this message all of the Internet to help influence and show other contractors not to waste their money on DeWalt batteries because DeWalt Will not stand behind their brand or even answer a Better Business Bureau complaint. Theyre very very rude when you contact them and try to get a warranty and they will do anything in the world to avoid a warranty. Ive got at least six broken Dewalt tools in my car, including a broken sander that I purchased only a few weeks ago, and ********** will not even return it.  ********** is telling me that Dewalt is becoming your heart to deal with on returns ********** does not want to take the liability for accepting their returns back.  I think Im going to switch out to another brand and I see a lot of people in the same ministry doing this right now because Dewalt has completely gone shady
    Sincerely,
