              I would never use GAR Associates of Clifton PK to assess anything or recommend them as they came to my town (Westernville) and Reassessed the properties. Most of the properties were assessed at a very high rate and not realistic at all. Didn't even look like GAR compared our properties to similar properties in our area but used comparisons (not even in our area) that got plugged into a computer from 2 years ago during the peak of the housing market. When you have a whole town of pissed off people and most of their assessments are inaccurate and high. Something has not been done right! Would not recommend GAR to any place or town reassessing their properties because they do shoddy work and our not realistic in how they do assessments. Gar was Not worth the money the Town board paid and in hindsight we should have contracted with a local firm more knowledgeable about the areas property values. As a client I give Gar a big Zero.
