      I gave a $280 deposit , job was suppose to be done on 8-19-25. Contacted him the day before he responded & said he would call & never did . The next day 8-19-25 no show no call . I called he said he had structure damage on his house . I text/email for few days no response . Then he responded & said he’ll do the job on 9-3-25 . Once again no show no call . I text /email no response then on 9-5-25 he responds & says he’s at the doctors office he’ll call afterward . I told him once again I just want my deposit back & he said he’ll Zelle me the money after his doctors appointment. Today is 9-10-25 no refund no response won’t answer phone or texts .

      8/16/25 - I requested estimate for tree removal via alexstreeremoval.com
      8/17/25 - $650 Estimate Provided by Alex U***** Alex verbally stated ***** ********** would remove the tree free of charge. Estimate included picture by Alex of driveway before damage.
      8/19/25 - Electronic Proposal Signed
      8/20/25 - Alex U**** called saying he had an opening at 4 p.m. Alex arrived around 5 p.m. and removed the tree with just a chain saw, no bucket vehicle or anything to do it in segments. Tree was felled directly onto the driveway causing multiple large cracks. I requested to pay by check or credit, but Alex was persistent that he wanted cash. After a prolonged discussion I agreed as long as he would provide a receipt. He agreed but never sent the receipt.
      8/21/25 - Contacted ***** ********** and was informed they do not provide tree pickup services. I left Alex a voicemail letting him know his information was wrong, and requested he help in moving it to an appropriate disposal location.
      8/23/25 - Alex returned my call, and said he would look for places, and would call me back the following day, but never did.
      8/29/25 - I sent a follow-up e-mail to Alex, but did not hear back.
      9/2/25 - I sent a second follow-up e-mail. Expressed great concern over the driveway damage. Cracks ~15 feet in length and inches deep that were not on the picture from the proposal.
      9/4/25 - I contacted the insurance company, ******* **** LLC, listed on Alex's proposal. Insurance company informed me the insurance document had been forged and Alex did not have insurance with them.
      9/5/25 - Informed NYAG of potential concerns over potentially fraudulent insurance.
      9/8/25 - I am waiting on estimates for another company to dispose of the tree Alex cut down and another company to repair the driveway in the Spring. I used asphalt crack filler as a temporary measure to prevent further damage this winter, but took numerous before/after photos. Filing complaint with BBB.
