No insults, just a true, honest review of our experience with AT Home Improvements:
If there was ever a time you could rate in negative stars this would be the time.
If you desire a General Contractor that is NEVER on site, sends different workers at random times to your home that are not informed of the task they need to complete, then AT Home Improvements is the company you need.
****** does not have an in house crew, he hires subcontractors that are subpar, can't lay tile proper, wastes material, messy work around your home, drunk... yes some of his workers showed up reeking of booze one day.
We went through so much material which WE provided and had to start over twice due to terrible craftsmanship.
He charges a top rate for his work and shows up when he wants to or not at all, does not respond back to phone calls or text messages for as long as a week in some cases.
He takes a full deposit and holds u in limbo. His contract covers him for all his blundering and leaves you the client with no legal recourse, we found out the hard way.
We hired him for a simple small 4x11' bathroom reno (floorstanding shower, toilet, single sink vanity)
His crew took almost 6 months including our weekends and still did not complete the job!
He quotes you and then adds work change up charges after the fact, for the SAME work he quoted initially.
We had to get Rockland Consumer Protection involved, we still don't have a completed functional bathroom.
BEWARE and do not hire, he has signs posted up in the Garnerville area, tell your neighbors, contractors like this should NOT be allowed to continue to carry a license to conduct business in Rockland County.
When your ONLY positive reviews are on ******** and not on ****** or ****, well that just means your friends are making you look good here, no true professional recommendations anywhere else......he fooled us, don't let AT Home Improvements/****** ****** do the same to you
