Found an ad on ******** market place for a service vehicle I was searching for and contacted All star Auto. Went to the location and discussed options to purchase 2 vehicles. The company sent the purchase agreements for the vehicles to my financial institution, I was provided funding with in 2 to 3 days of inquiry. I called to inform the salesman TJ I was provided funding for the 2 vehicles we agreed upon. Tj then informed me that they had sold one of them out from under me to a cash buyer after I was pre approved and the agreement was made. They offered to honor the price on another vehicle, I agreed to take a look at it when it arrived. They collected a check for one vehicle in order to prepare it for pickup. An entire week had went by and the vehicle was still not ready even though they stated it would be. 3 days in a row I lost out on work due to the jack around with the vehicle. The day I went to pick it up the vehicle was not ready. I pointed out the front passenger tire was bad, the cv axle was leaking grease and the back breaks were scrapping. They stated that their only job was to get it to pass nys inspection. I requested a refund for the vehicle and the owner stated he was not going to refund anything. They promised me a replacement tire and said it would take about 2 days to get it in. It has been over a week and still have not replaced the bald tire qith a plug in it. They called once to say the other van had arrived, I requested to receive the replacement tire before I was interested in looking at the other vehicle. At this point I would like to return the vehicle and be refunded. The headlight switch is broke out, the interior light leaks water when it rains, there is a slight hum/ whinning noise while traveling and the cruise control does not work. These guys are a complete rip of and demand funding up front in order to even move the vehicle to a shop for inspection. I believe the car repair shop is fraudulent and pushes cars through for the sale.
