Oct 9th-Oct 14th I stayed at the ***** at turning stone. The stay was far from a relaxing time, there was multiple people yelling and partying late into the night , on top of slamming doors. There was an abundance of children running around making a obnoxious amount of noise running and jumping into the pool and hot tub splashing people. My balcony was covered in spit and other mysterious fluids so I could not use the balcony. The wall paper in my bedroom is peeling off the wall and the bathroom consistently smells like mold and mildew. The private room at the spa ***** was a huge waste of time and we were gyped out of 15-20 mins of our massage and 15-20 mins of the vip room so that was $800 down the drain and a ruined experience that was supposed to be relaxing. They hosted a wedding at the ***** with 250 people the third-fourth night I was there and it was a nightmare, I couldn't relax or hang with my wife because there was just an a tremendous amount of noise and people coming into the building using the elevators, you physicallycould not go anyware due to the amount of people there. On check out I got told to park my car all the way towards the end instead of directly in front to make loading my luggage easier, while doing this the bellboy lost a bag with 4-5 pairs of shoes in it, as well as knocked the luggage off the cart and unbeknownst to me at the time smashed my wifes ******** ****** to smithereens. I brought all this to there attention and they said drive to us and we can file a report, after saying I live 2 hours away I was still told I have to drive up there to file a report and maybe they can try to do something. My wife and I make a yearly week long trip to the ***** but this year is the last time we will be going the cleanliness and overall atmosphere is not what it used to be, it is far from a resort now it is more of a party location to have night long ragers at.
