    I needed my daughter's car shipped from her internship in ************** ******* to *******, **. I got several quotes from several different auto shipping companies. I chose JKAuto Shipping because a friend of a friend used them and had no issues. Another friend of mine was going to use them too. The quote was in the medium range. The price agreed on was $790 with the promise the company would not charge more on the date of service and that the deposit of $200 through venmo, would count toward the total. We needed the car shipped on August 10th. It had to be that day because my daughter was flying out the next day to come back to *******. On August 10th around 10:00 in the morning, I started getting texts from ** Auto saying the driver wouldn't do it for less than $900. Then they called back and said that driver found a better deal and they would keep searching for a driver. Eventually ** called and said it would be $1000. When I told him that ** would have to pay the difference because of our agreement, he said there wasn't a driver who would do it for the original quote of $790. I had no other choice but to agree. The car finally arrived on August 14th. I had to pay the driver $1000 in cash only. I took video of the transaction. This is a complete bait and switch.

    hey we dispatched this order. with the acknowledgement of the customer who placed that order. we didn't even kept a single ***** from this order we paid the whole amount to the driver then only he agrees to pickup this load. And it's delivered at the destination safely . we didn't got the money but we gave the customer all the services. but after all this . I'll say thanks.

    On April 26, I contracted JK Auto Shipping to ship my car from ********** to ************ on approximately June 15th. The representative gave me a quote of $875 and requested a deposit of $200. I also contracted for a return trip for the car on approximately August 4th with an additional $200 deposit. He said he would call the day before the shipping date with the drivers phone number and pickup time.The day came, and no driver called. I contacted the rep, and he said the driver would call the next day. When the driver failed to call or show up, the rep said that the price would now be $1500, nearly double the originally quoted price. He refused to honor the quoted price even though he sent me a written email that said Your vehicle will be ship in $875 total tariff and price won't be change. In the end, I was able to find an alternative carrier that did not bait and switch and I was able to ship my car at an additional expense and with a lot of stress. The company is still refusing to refund the second $200 for the return shipment, but I cannot do business with criminals.I am astonished that this company has a rating that is above F on the BBB web site. As far as I can tell by looking at the reviews, they are complete scammers and give everyone the bait and switch. The government should take away their license to ship cars.

    It is funny that they should claim that they refunded me 4 or 5 days ago. This is a complete fabrication. In fact, the representative contacted me just this morning and tried to bribe me to take down my bad review on a web site. He said that if I took down the review, he would refund my money.  I told him to refund the money and that I was not going to take down the review. Previously, when I talked to the representative two days ago, he refused to give me my refund.  

    Please note that I booked transportation with them in two directions.  They did refund my money for the first booking, but they are refusing to refund the remaining $200 for the second booking.

    In any case, even refunding the money will not really repair the damage that I have incurred. In addition to the stress and hassle of having to scramble at the last minute to find an alternate shipping company, I had to pay a higher price than the one that they guaranteed when I booked with them.

    that's what what we were trying to inform him at first place . he shipped his vehicle in very high price and we were giving him the same services in very cheap price and even though we never refused to refund his money . but this customer was not understanding anything even it's clearly mentioned in our contract that the price is estimated . It's always estimated we shipped more that 50 vehicles everyday and prices changed everyday because it always depends on the weather and many more conditions sometimes drivers asked for higher prices. it's nobody's fault our job is to provide every customer good services and we tried our best to get the driver in cheapest price.

    The business continues to make deceptive and incorrect assertions. 

    1. They say "he shipped his vehicle in very high price".  In fact, I have not told them the price I shipped my vehicle at. In fact, I did pay more than the promised amount because the company performed a bait and switch on me.  The fact that I had to pay more is part of the reason I am filing this complaint. 

    2. They say "we never refused to refund his money." However, I am still waiting for them to tell me they are willing to refund my money.  

    3. "this customer was not understanding anything."  This is completely incorrect. I understand everything. The company profits off of their customers using a method called the squeeze. They promise a lower price than the competitors. Then, at the last minute, they raise the price based on some flimsy excuse such as "the situation has changed."  Since most people who are transporting cars are moving on a certain date, they have no other option but to pay the higher price. In this manner, the company is able to cheat customers out of several hundred dollars.  It is a fantastic scheme, but still fraudulent. 

    4. "it's clearly mentioned in our contract that the price is estimated . It's always estimated we shipped more that 50 vehicles everyday and prices changed everyday because it always depends on the weather and many more conditions sometimes drivers asked for higher prices. it's nobody's fault our job is to provide every customer good services and we tried our best to get the driver in cheapest price."  It is true that the contract says that the price is estimated.  However, I had verbal and written confirmation from the representative that "Your vehicle will be ship in $875 total tariff and price won't be change." (see attachment). Clearly, now that I know how they run their business, he had no intention of honoring this verbal contract and written assurance.  Their "cheapest price" was almost double the price that they gave me originally, which they said would not change.  So I don't think that they did their best to get the cheapest price.

    At the core, this company is still running the business as a bait and switch scheme, and this will probably explain why all the reviews on the BBB and elsewhere on the internet are so bad. I wish I had done better research before getting involved with this company.  I am still waiting for them to tell me that they agree to refund my remaining $200 deposit.

    On May 30th, 2023, They quoted me the amount of 760, said they had a driver and would pick up that afternoon and need a deposit of 165. They never showed up and after multiple calls and texts said they didnt have a driver due to the holiday but would soon. They then doubled the price on June 4th. They never said the price could increase. I could not afford it. I cancelled on June 4th and they have not returned my deposit. They said it would be sent on June 9th. Then, when not received, they said it would be returned on June 12th and as of June 15th still not received. I called them again to find out about it and they said it would be coming but no date. I just want my deposit returned. I am a single mom with 5 kids and was trying to help my mother who has been hospitalized get her car shipped here. I now take care of her too. Please help. These guys are not easy to work with and I just want me deposit of 165 back. Thank you.

    I was quoted a certain price for my transport of my vehicle, and was told that I would need to put down a deposit to hold the space. The initial amount was ******. I asked the representative that I will agree to that amount. Representative, then came back to say that the amount now is ******* dollars. I told representative that the amount is out of my budget. I asked for my deposit back, ************** said that he would work on finding another driver that would take the vehicle for a lesser amount. Two days go by and representatvie states that he has found a tranport for the amount of ******** dollars, I agreed to that amount minue the deposit of ****** dollars would leave a balance of ******. Representative told me that ****** plus 1,00.00 dollar that would make the total of 1,****** at delivery. I told the representatvie within five minutes of our conversation that I would like to take my business elsewhere, because he was not being truthful. The representatvie reported that he would not refund my ******. I have contacted the ** Autoshipping on three occasions to resolve this issue but no results.

    This company is just lying I have not signed any agreement. I want to submit this information to the fraud department of the *************. Also the information that they provided is for the 11/30/22. IAlso their is no mention of any cost to me, I specifically asked the representative that I don't want to leave a deposit, I was told that it would be refunded if I decided to opt out of transport. I specifically asked the representative if he would ***** ther rate that was submitted on 11/30/22, represative responded"that price is still available". Somenthing need to be done about this copany fradualant activities. I'm positive that they are doing this to many customers. This comapnay is not acting in goodd faith.     I was contacted by *********************** and was constantly contacted to do business with them. I explained before I did business that this had to be done a specific date. He agreed that it could be done on that day. I sent a cash app to someone. Which I thought was odd. Well after several attempts on trying to get a confirmation. I received nothing. Then on the day of I received guy had trouble. I asked for the driver number and no response. I have all the text messages. These guys took my money and are very unprofessional. I had to spend money on a car storage and a hotel because of them not delivering. I have asked for my refund several times. Also the quote they gave me wasnt the same price at the time we did business. I have all proof that this company is getting people deposits and not delivering. I am a disable marine veteran and cant believe Im receiving this treatment. I asked for my refund and nothing has happen

    JK shipping committed to ship my vehicle from ********* to ********** for $750. They requested, and I provided a $150 deposit by *****. The day of pick up no transport arrived. I called them and they repayed that they couldn't get the driver and they could instead get one for the next day but at $600, down from $1800. They said that the rates had gone up and if I checked with any company this is what I'd now be told was the rate. I refused. They siad the driver was on his way but they would try to cancel. I requested a refund but they said their office was closed. Now, searching the web, it is clear that this is a scam tactic that they have used several times before: **************************************************************. This organization should honestly be shut down, but I would request payment in full for the $750 given that I was hugely inconvenienced by not being able to ship my vehicle at all. Their behavior should be recognized as criminal.

    The business did not resolve my complaint.  Actually they requested that to even get my deposit back of $150, I would need to remove my compliant from the better business bureau.  I clearly told them that I would report that to you.  The manager then slightly backtracked and said he had just meant that he would not expedite things but that I would eventually get my deposit back. I waited several weeks. This did not happen. When I recontacted them they said they were unable to give me a refund because I had also complained to Venmo, my method of delivering the deposit.  Venmo has a few exactly similar complaints for this user.  They apparently closed that account.  The vendor said because of this there was “no way” for them to give me my deposit back.  Clearly they have more than one Venmo account and are still doing business so I recognize that this is just to further obstruct. 



    To your team, I want to make it clear.  I did end up hiring another company to get my car to our new home in time for my wife to start work.  The cost was $1250.  $500 more than I should have spent based on this company’s original quote and on competing quotes.  This was of course necessary because I had to arrange things at the last minute.  It was still less than what JK shipping was trying to charge me the day of the planned transport when they “changed plans” on me. 



    This is unscrupulous and they should really be held to account.  Please do what you can to make sure no one else is cheated like this.  I’m not sure if you can help me get my deposit back.  Ideally I would like more than that to cover the difference in price I had to pay to get the vehicle shipped.  I can certainly provide receipts - both JK shipping’s original quote and my final payment.

    Jan 7, 2023 @10:17am ****** quoted me $750/car (I was transporting 2) and they would pick up by Tuesday morning. She informed me the driver would come Monday evening to get the cars. Then it was pushed back to Tuesday. I informed her I was traveling in the afternoon and she said it would be early morning. She gave me drivers number, I texted him asking for times and he said ****pm, I told him I was told 7:00am and he said they couldn't do it. I asked for Monday night and he said could not do it. If they can't pick up **** they could find me another carrier. I called him early evening and he said he would cancel the order because they time wasn't going to work. They said they had another driver so it would be $2,000. Then they had a driver issue an had to find someone else. I paid them the $200 and they had another issue and I had to call them. AT this point, they have lied repeatedly to me and never had a driver and took my money. ****** was "fired" and dealing with someone else who has told me the zelle refund was initiated and here we are a week later and they still have my money. I was my $200 issued back due. They didn't fulfill their obligation and repeatedly lied.

    We dispatched this order after taking the acknowledgement from the customer and we sent the driver's detail to the client and we are a autoshipping broker company our work is to dispatch the order to the carrier after taking the permission from the customer . and that's the exactly we did in this order . but after dispatching that order that customer talked with the driver and we don't know after that the driver cancelled the load and maybe he done that job privately because after that even driver isn't picking up our calls . our job is done after dispatching that order to a registered carrier and after that we don't have any idea what happens in between them. so after dispatching the reservation fee directly goes to the drivers account so after dispatching the order that is non-refundable .

    This company continues to spew lies. I have been nothing but open and transparent with what I needed but they have been lying and then trying to fix their lies to no avail.

    1. No, I didn't give him the load directly. I called to confirm the times since I was originally told my first driver was coming Monday early evening and then it was changed to Tuesday **** when dispatch ****** knew I was leaving out of town and would not be able to do the meet. Ths issue is that they told me $1,500 and then drivers saw it posted for $2,000 and that's when driver pulled out at $1,500.

    2. If you would like my phone records, I have not contacted the driver they said I hired privately at ************ after the first call of him saying he couldn't do that time frame I needed and that he would cancel the load.

    3. After reaching out numerous times, they have told me they have processed the refund request. It's been about a week and a half and I know it takes 5 seconds to send a zelle payment, so again, another lie.  On 1/18/23, i was given ******* phone number of ************ and told he in the accounting contact that would issue the **** refund. I have left 2 messages there and no response. 

    4. I was told ****** doesn't work there anymore and probably because of how she handled loads. This is from their person who responds to me at ************ or ************. Those rare the 2 numbers I have been in contact with.

    5. I have asked for the owners number directly to discuss the issue with and was told they don't have a contact number for him. Any reputable company would have no issue letting customers discuss the issue with an owner.

    6. I know how brokers work. The response states, our job is done once they dispatch. For them to say once they take their $200 and then they are out of the picture shows they do not stand by what they said. ****** stated she would be there along the way if I had any questions or concerns and give updates. 

    7. How can they say dispatch keeps the fee? the fee to what? The load was not given a driver that would meet the criteria of what I needed. You can't make promises and not keep them and then keep someones money Your job was not done accurately.

    8. And why did they say it was being processed and now it's a different story. That's how it is with them. Always lies to get try to avoid what was said and promised.

    If you see the 2 new attachments, it shows they were promising my refund back. It seems to now change after I filed my BBB complaint. I am a single month of 2 and I work multiple jobs for my money. They didn't do their job so they should not be able to keep my money for not booking a carrier within my time frame as they originally promised. Plus they changed my rate from $1,500 to $1,800 to $2,000. I not once lied.

     For them to accuse me to use a driver of theirs after all the lies and running around they made me do is insulting and unprofessional. Maybe that carrier not picking up their calls should be a concern of theirs that they are not transparent . Maybe he was insulted the rate they were wanting him to take this load for. i'm not sure, but I do know i have nothing to do with it.

Our job is to dispatch the order and provide the details to both ends . and we provided the details of driver to this customer after that they make the deal or not that's not in our hands . and it's mentioned in the contract that after the dispatch it's non-refundable .     I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

    they knew they messed up and said they would issue a refund which I provided information to prove. Now that I field a claim against them they are saying there is no refund. The 3 people all said they would do their job and they didnt. Just finding someone who cant do the time frame I needed does not work. Im not leaving a l2 cars randomly and leaving keys in the hope they get picked up. So then not getting a Carrier in the time frame provided to them does not mean they didn their job. I can find a random person to take a call and say they cant do that time frame and keep the $200. Sounds like a scam on JK Auto Shipping. Maybe thats how they stay in business. They also said they had their own drivers and not brokers and now they are brokers. Again, they are full of lies and its sad they are able to con people out of $200 and not do what they are suppose to. Maybe further investigation on how many people have paid $200 to them and then the driver cant pull the load. SCAM. If its not a bogus business, have your owner call me. If you are legit, a real owner would try to make it right and not steal $200 from innocent people. What happened to ******? Did she get fired for quoting too low of a load? Did she quit cause she found out how this business actually works? If you are a legit company and really stand by who you claim to ne, do whats right and give back money to innocent people. I work hard for my money and companies should not be allowed to scam innocent people. How many other complaints have you gotten not listed on BbB? Whats $200 to a company like you? Again, sounds like a scam and not legit.

    On Monday, January 9, 2023 I was quoted $620 to ship my car from ***** to ********** from JK Autoshipping, ************ on Saturday January 14, 2023. I was asked to sign a "terms of agreement" which stated the amount would be $620. I was then asked to send a deposit of $150 to their venmo account @Jkauto-Shipping to secure transport on Saturday, Jan. 14, which I did. The account is linked to *************************. After my deposit was made through Venmo, I didn't hear back from them. Nor did I receive a receipt from them or a contract. I contacted the telephone number which kept breaking up. I finally was able to reach someone who said there is no schedule for my vehicle to be shipping but that the new amount was $900 including the $150 deposit. I said I do not agree to that and asked for my $150 deposit to be refunded. This is a scam company and should be reported.

    that's a totally lie. we dispatched this order and we have the acknowledgement from the customer and we only dispatch it after taking the permission from customer so we dispatch it after that and even the driver also talked with him and even his car has already been picked up by the driver and he gave him his car and now just trying to steal some money from driver after his car has been picked up which is absolutely a non-refundable also mentioned in our contract . Thanks

    I was not provided with any information about my car being dispatched to anything! I paid the $150 and did not hear back from JK Auto Shipping. I called a number of times and spoke to someone who said they would send me the dispatch order. They did not provide the documentation. 

    They simply took my $150 deposit and disappeared. 

    There was no dispatch order, no follow up to when the car would be picked up, no receipt, no contract, no signed agreement.

    I am requesting that my $150 be refunded.

    It is unfortunate that there these shipping brokers are allowed to get away with what they are doing. There are multiple complaints against this company for their fraudelent practices.

    A refund of my deposit would be an act of good faith.

    1.Date of the transaction: On December 07, 2022, I had signed the contract with the JK Auto Shipping to ship my car from ************ to **********, as shown in the attached contract. 2.The amount of money paid to the business. The total amount of shipping price is 800 dollars, among which 200 dollars was the deposit paid on Dec. 07, 2022 when the contract was signed. 3.What the business committed to provide you. The signed contract indicates ** Autoshipping committed to ship my car from ************ to ********** on 01/11/2023. The ** staff, ******************* who signed the contract, in his phone conversation, promised me that one and half months of time (from 12/07/2022 to 1/11/2023) would provide ample time for them to arrange the truck to come to pick up my car on time and ship to CA. 4.What is the nature of the business? The business provided by the ** Autoshipping is to ship one car from one place (e.g. *********************) to another place (e.g., **********). 5.Since Yesterday (01/11/2022), morning, the person named **** who claimed to carry out my contract gave different times for the coming of the truck, including 10:00AM, Noon time, 200 miles away. At around 6:00PM, **** told that the truck driver could no longer be reached since the driver no longer replied to his text or picked up his call. Then, about 6:00PM, another staff named ***** said that they could not find the truck driver to pick up my car and the car would not be shipped until I accepted their new price of **** dollars, which is 250% of the original contract price. 5.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve the problem? Today (01/12/2022) I called twice (9:46 AM and 2:09PM), ***** said that they would not deliver my car unless of **** dollars. 6.The original contracted amount is 800 dollars, and the new price is **** dollars.7.I am requesting the refund of the deposit and compensate the losses (traveled costs, lost work hours, car renting/taxi, rescheduling costs).

    It's been weeks we refunded that customer . we never kept his money he changes his words he ask for refund and we did. his driver was on the way but due to bad weather he wasn't able to get that so we never asked for money we just informed him that the driver can't reach to the pickup point . and we refunded him simple . so he signed the contract and that is mentioned in our contract . Thanks
