    A1 Moving Services (formerly Edwin Pro Services) was contracted through ****** **** to move personal belongings to our new home. In the process many items were damaged. I submitted photos and an itemized list as requested in order to be compensated at the contract rate of $0.60 per pound. This came to $552.90, however A1 Moving Services only paid $100. Attempts since then to obtain the rest of what I am contractually owed have elicited no response from A1 Moving Services. Communication with ****** **** has been equally unsatisfactory: ****** **** even tried to retroactively change the quoted price for the move in an attempt to shelter A1 Moving Services from having to pay the contractual amount for damages. I have also requested A1 Moving Services return the tip I gave them ($292.50) before I was able to assess damages to our belongings.
    Included with this complaint are a copy of the ****** **** contract, and all emails pertaining to moving damages.

I want to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and frustration this experience has caused you.I understand your complaint and after reviewing the matter, I am willing to pay the remaining $442.90 in accordance with the contractual rate of $0.60 per pound for the damaged items.However, please note that tips are considered voluntary and are not part of the contractual agreement. As such, we are unable to return the tip that was provided.We value our customers and strive to resolve issues fairly and professionally. I hope this resolution demonstrates our commitment to making things right.Please let me know the best way to issue the remaining payment.
