Original Owner Matt M. sold me on insulation, doors, windows, new HVAC system. Doors and Windows were suppose to have a lifetime warranty, but that is only if the manufacturer of the items were still in business. I found that out the hard way, when the door I purchased started leaking air. New owner, Dave just wouldn't cover the replacement, since the manufacturer of the door went out of business. Nothing like hiding the true warranty in fine print, and not disclosing it at point of purchase. Insulation was expensive, and not done correctly. 1 year after install I found areas that had icicles, showing hot air loss. Complete sections of spray foam were not done as contract said. ZeroDraft made it right after complaints. HVAC system has been an ongoing problem. 2 Years after install, heat system failed. After 2 weeks of techs in and out, a supervisor from their HVAC group found the problem. Almost all internal parts were replaced, since they didn't know what caused the issue. Vent pipe had a grate, causing ice to build, and block emissions. Latest HVAC issue had me bring in another HVAC company. After diagnosis he concluded that the HVAC system ZeroDraft sold me was to big for my square footage, and that the house was insulated to tight. I was advised that my internal HVAC ducts should have been upgraded to larger sizes when the system was installed. I'm not sure if it is shady business practices or lack of knowledge, but it has not been a good situation for me or my family.
