I had issues with my heating system and called ******* Plumbing & Heating. They sent a technician on 2/12/25, diagnosed the system and said they fixed the problem. They charged me $266.13 which I paid. The same issues with the heating system resurfaced a week later and I called them again. They showed up on 2/21/25 diagnosed the problem, replaced some parts and ultimately fixed the problem. I was charged $803.83. I feel I should be refunded the $266.13 as they didn't diagnose the problem correctly or fix the system on the initial visit.I reached out to them via phone on several occasions and was told someone would get back to me. They never did.

    Business Response

On February 12st we had dispatched a mechanic to customers address at ***************************************************************. ******* had installed boiler about 5 years before that and had not been back since. Unit had not been serviced, at least by *******, since then.

The error code the boiler had was no flow due to low pressure or no circulation. Boiler had almost no pressure in the system. Mechanic fed boiler to proper pressure. He cycled heating / hot water system to see if it would get an error code. Boiler worked as it should the entirety of service call. Call was invoiced at $266.13 (invoice *****).

On February 21st we dispatched a mechanic who found the circulator dead. We replaced circulator, purged & tested system, and invoiced call at $803.83 (invoice *****).

On March 6th we credited back the original service call (invoice *****) $104.28 making the original service call just an inspection fee at $149.00 plus tax.

I will credit the inspection fee back to the total sum of $161.85 (****** + ***** tax) with the request the customer makes other arrangements to servicing his boiler.

Energy ******** has a list of certified mechanics and can be reached at ************.
