    Richard has been my CPA for a few years. In 2022 Richards colleague did not fill my taxes correctly and I ended up paying $90k and filed and extension. In Oct, Richard updated my taxes and we realized I had overpaid and was due state and federal refund. Richard continued to say he filed the taxes but neither the fed nor the state had my taxes. In 2023, Richard filed my taxes with 2022 amounts as credit and that was accepted by the fed but New York State didnt accept it as they still dont have my 2022 taxes. I am due a refund of $20,000 from the state. Over the past 2 years, I have repeatedly asked Richard about 2022 taxes and hes blatantly lied about filing them. He doesnt have a receipt of the filing. He doesnt answer my calls, my emails or my texts. He has left me in a difficult position Becuase I am unable to e file a prior tax return myself. I have finally mailed my taxes now but Richard is still non responsive and has been unwilling to find or help me find a solution. I paid Richard $1000 for my ************************************************************************************ along with his continuous false claims about filing my taxes when he clearly has not. I just want Richard to resolve this as I dont want to be in trouble for not filing taxes and now I have to find someone else to help me with this. If he is unwilling to file my taxes, he should pay for the next person to file them as well as well as for the immense anxiety and stress he has caused me. I have emails, texts going back years now discussing the same problem.
