Services billed for was 2/2/21. My insurance company paid them in full with a check sent to me in September. I never received that check so I contacted my insurance and they reissued me another check which I immediately endorsed and mailed to CDX. I kept getting a **** from CDX saying I still owed the full amount. They cashed the check I endorsed to them in December and they continued to **** me for the full amount. I contacted them and they claimed to need my statements of benefits. I sent that to them a month ago and they claim they didnt receive it. Now they are billing me for almost double the original **** and threatening to send me to collections for a **** that was paid December 2021 in full. This **** was paid in full and they refuse to quit billing me and show my account paid in full.Business response

We sincerely regret that insurance companies continue to put patients in the middle of claim processing, and we thank you for submitting the payment you received from your insurance company for our life saving services. We were unable to complete the closing of your account without your Explanation of Benefits or *** ensuring that we post your payment accurately. On 3/17/2022 we received your correspondence including a copy of the **** were able to successfully post all components of the *** and bring your account to a zero balance. By now you should have received a statement reflecting the zero balance on your account. We understand the follow up burden that was placed on you throughout this process, and thank you for providing us with the necessary documentation.Customer response

I am being charged for services that were not requested or performed. My dentist did not give a referral to Cdx for any services. I'm being told by Cdx that I owe over $3,500 and are threatening to send me to collections. I think this is a scam of some type.Business response

CDx retains the documented request for testing from the ordering physician. Testing was performed and the results were shared with the ordering physician. **************** coverage was provided with the order, however CDx testing is covered by medical insurance. To date, CDxs billing provider has been unable to obtain active medical coverage details for the date of service and have sent statements to the patient seeking clarification.Customer response

Dental insurance coverage was provided with the order however, CDx testing is covered by medical insurance. To date, CDx has been unable to obtain active medical coverage details for the date of service and have sent statements to the patient seeking same.
