I own a **** ***** civic, it was leaking oil so I brought it nastas auto repair in fresh ******* queens. They replaced the head gaskets but it was still leaking and the mechanic told me the heads were warped and would need a new engine. I was recommended to a *********************** to put an engine for $2200. So we brought the car to him June 28th, 2023 at **************************************************************************, which is a ***** repair shop. He insisted he could fix the leak without replacing the engine. After having possession of my car for 3 months, $1718.45, and several failed attempts to fix the ******************** finally conceded that the engine needed to be replaced. He texted me for **** we get motor that gives use a 61 month warranty unlimted miles labor eitherway with all fluids and exhaust gaskets is ****. And I said ok. After another month he finally contacted me saying the car was ready to be picked. So I went and picked up the car and was charged $3648.28 and told me hed take $1000 off because of the original failed attempts to fix the oil leak. After a few weeks I noticed the car was leaking oil again. So I called him and told him about the leak and he said come back to the shop. I took the car out and ***** was going to check the leak until I was told if it takes more than 15 minutes I was going to be charged $200 an hour. We had words and was told to leave the premises. After these 4 months of him having my car and $4,366.73 I got my car back in worse condition then I brought it to him. Then I noticed the two receipts I received had a different address then the ***** location. Communicating with ***** was very difficult for he ignored numerous calls and texts I sent him over the 4 months of him having my car. I thought he was an employee of ***** and when I spoke to the owner of the shop, he told me he only rents a bay there. Im requesting a full refund plus compensation for the time aggregation and inconvenience.
