9/27/2021 Estimate $8700.00 9/28/21 Deposit $4350.00 Check Cash 12/31/21 Final Payment $4350.00 Check Cash March 15, 2022 installed the steps. I was told they were bending the rails and needed 30 days. I had and text call the owner himself in May, June, July and August. September I was told they needed a FEW days. Call again a month later in October and left a message. Return phone call from ******** on my Voice mail saying the railing aren't done, This is over 13 months chasing someone who has been paid and I sure are completing jobs ahead my job, I am notifying every *** licensed agency in regards to this business and my attorney ******************************* and now notified.Business response

Second Generation Wood Stairs is aware we still have curved railing to install to complete the job on ******************************************. Project was delayed due to covid employees calling out, material, lumber taking longer than usual to arrive. Second Generation is ready to install railing in two weeks. We messaged ******************** and we are currently waiting on his response.
Second Generation Wood Stairs is looking forward to completing job.

Contracted 2nd generation to remove and replace interior staircase on7/23/21 after 6months 1/19/22 I noticed cracks on a step and cracks on the riser. Contacted 2nd **** and on 1/26/22 they sent someone to repair with wood filler I spoke to owner **** and I said this wasn't acceptable since the install was $6800.00 **** had his worker measure the replacement step and would return to install. after numerous phone calls, e-mail ,text message and letter to his business address this matter has not been resolved to date 8/29/22Business response

We contacted ************** , and made an appointment to go to his house and assess issue. After meetig with ************** we agreed Second Generation will come and do the repair work requested on one step this month (September 2022).Initial Complaint

I had 2 missing balusters on the 4th floor staircase in my building. I ordered new stairway balusters from Second Generation Stairs to replace those 2 missing ballusters. They removed 2 other balusters from the existing staircase to use as a model. I have called repeatedly and they promise to come, but it has been many months and they haven't delivered the new balusters. They promise to come by in a few days but never show. I asked them to return the ones they took, but they haven't done that either. The staircase is more dangerous with the balusters missing.Business response

We spoke to **************************** regarding 2 balusters in question. Per our conversation Second Generation will return the 2 balusters in question by *********.
******************* told us once she receives balusters she would withdraw complaint.
