Exactly what Woman below States is 100% whats going on at our property. This is obviously a different Property than mine but I couldnt agree more with everything ******* says. 7/7 years consecutive increases while our property did not have 1 increase in 15 years! Constant assessments that make no sense for work that doesnt even get done and then they tell us too bad we spent the money Recently I received a $30,000 assessment for non existent work! Yes Thirty Thousand! Our properties were selling for $800,000 before we hired them and now they are listing for Low $400s and none are selling! THE ***** OF THIS PATHETIC COMPANY OWNS A UNIT IN OUR CONDO! ( yes conflict of interest) AND HES BEEN TRYING TO SELL HIS UNIT FOR 4 YEARS, lowering from $775,000 down to $400,000 and no one wants it! Read Yelp reviews. All the same. Terrible company that destroys everything they touch

If you are looking for a management company that does nothing but continuously increase monthly dues, charge umpteen Assessments & hires 1 person to oversee every other necessary improvement, this is the company for you! They don't even abide by the definition of Common Elements- the main reason why many people opt to purchase a condo instead of a house. Since taking over ****-*****************, they began increasing dues and adding unending Assessments March of 2020. Yes, March 2020 when the world shut down! (Many days during 3/2020 they shut down the WATER!! This winter sometimes no heat!) There is a sister community that parted ways before Island Condo took over. That community is doing just fine & yet they have not had any increase in monthly dues, nor any assessments. It's virtually impossible to reach a human being on the phone. They make it their way or else, even to pay the monthly dues. Owners must use Click Pay. They no longer allow owners to mail in personal checks. It has been a nightmare for several owners even before it became one for me. It is a shame that this beautiful community is being financially run into the ground, as well as some of the owners because of poor financial management. When this company took over, they fired everyone who had worked in the community for decades. They hired 1 company that is supposed to be the Superintendent who gets $145000 & a free apartment. Along with this, he received the landscaping, roofing & snow removal contracts. He is the person that they call to do the work behind owner's walls (common elements) & then charge each owner claiming it is the owner's responsibility and quote a tiny portion of the bylaws that they manipulate to say what they want. They have intimidated owners who live onsite by banging on their doors & demand cash payments for work that should have come from common fees and those unending assessments. Supposedly there is another increase for July. It is about the 6th Common Charge increase.
